I think if the gangs can import 1 tonne of cocaine on a fishing trawler , they can smuggle a few guns aswell so it doesnt matter about legally held firearms, I guarentee if there were no legally held firearms here there would be just as many shootings !

every weapon has the potential to be dangerous in the wrong hands no matter if it is a 9mm or a beret .50 cal sniper rifle or what ever a bullet is a bullet they all travel at ridiculous speed does it matter what gun shoots you if it hits you in the head or heart???

Why can't the authorities target the criminal gangs who illegally hold firearms to be used in crimes. Leave the target shooters to their sport - they are the good guys.

Parts of this Prime Time repost were so factually incorrect it's unbelieveable. I am writing to the Broadcasting Complaints Comission. It was editorally biased against legally held firearms, it was sensonalist, it was utter tabloid gutter press.
