  • Good idea, and thanks....

  • You can make it in music if you attract the right audience with the right kind of music. try something more modern like Katy Perry or Lady Gaga stuff. The generation of people following music on YT are in their teens and late 20's.

  • Hi Karen,

I have great news. I finally got myself a webcam. My mom bought it at work today so I'll be making more videos very soon as soon as I get it setup this weekend.

  • You are the sweetest <3!

please marry me, you just make me blush!

  • GO FOR IT! lol ;-)

  • 48-years old wow? Hey Karen, I just happened to stumble upon your version of "Just a closer walk with thee" while I was searching for my favorite version by Harry Dean Stanton (Cool Hand Luke Sound Track). I listened to a bunch of different versions by several different artist and have to tell you that yours was by far the best I could find online. Keep it up girl! 11k plus subscriber's and over a million views - I think you are on to something!

  • Ask all of your subscribers to share their favorite vedio of you on their other social networking sites with some comments about your struggle to the top. Maybe you can triple your exposure and the right person will find you. GOOD LUCK! PS, I don't know JACK about music but I know what I like when I hear it:)

  • WOW, go girl, we are proud of u

  • @drumbo46 Thank you! ;)

  • have certainly happened, you, you are, full of joy, strength of will, you, songs, very, good, and, are, beautiful, a winning mix ferrari giu giuliano hello karen

  • @maccicchitte1 Thanks so much! I appreciate it! ;)

  • you're such a pretty lady, you don't need makeup. just a random observation

  • Dang! I just became familiar with your music in the last 2 days and now find out that you are leaving. Love your voice and your personality. You should have made it to the big time.

I worked in in the medical field for 35 years (Since I was 15). You seem to be doing this for the right reasons. When it gets tough, remember why. Think about the patients. I am also starting Univ next fall for a PhD. I think we will both do fine. I wish you the very best of luck.

  • The best to you Karen. We enjoy your company, come back to visit us when you can.

  • Good luck in nursing school! It'll be hard work, but we wish you all the best and want you to do well! If you're having trouble, come back and be honest about it and we'll give you more support!

  • @AshiStarshade Aw, thank you! :)

  • Nursing is a profession aimed for caring people with beautiful hearts.

It's perfect for you Karen! Good luck! I know you'll make it! ☮

  • i know you can and will be able to do this with God's help and i know you will be a wonderful nurse and i wish and pray for you upmost sucsess...God bless ,.....5*****

  • @dying2self2000 Thanks so much! God bless you too! :)

  • Welcome to the real world Karen. You don't see people who are 48 years old on American Idol. Promotors don't want to invest is anything but kids and young adults. It sux but that's life. I mean there are some people who deserve to make it big and there are some who don't.

  • @Sarasdad91 Hi Tim, I just wanted to let you know that over this year, that every time you wrote me, that I wrote you back, but it seems that you have blocked me, so I am not able to send my messages to you! Good luck with your new book coming out! That is very exciting! :)

  • Do not go to nursing school! There are 1000's of new grads that can't find work. My graduating class is 85% unemployed after a year. You are better off cutting hair. Also, nursing is not enjoyable, it is stressfull hard work. The majority of patients and their families are assholes. Do more research on Unemployed RN new grads to see what I mean. I have been there, done that and now stand with a useless degree in my hand. Beware the "nursing shortage" hoax.

  • @aaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaaqaa: Also, I can give you tips if you do choose to go to RN school. Feel free to contact me.

    B~

  • you seem so kind of a person

  • Good choice Karen on nursing school.

It is a very noble profession.

I think you will be good at it, you can do anything if you put your mind to it and I KNOW you will do well.

I will support you in whatever do decide to do.

You are intelligent and know what you want.

By the way, sorry I haven't been by lately.

Been busy helping my wife Diane during her chemo treatments.

    Thanks hun :)

    Indy

  • @ImHiYrStnd Hi Indy, it is going to be a very long hard road, but if I keep plugging away and study, eat right and go to bed early (very hard for me lol!) I should do good! Again, my prayers are with you and Diane that God will give you all the strength you need to endure this trial in your life! We all have them at one time or another and with God's help, it can certainly ease the load! God bless you my friend! ;)

  • Your singing makes people feel better. Good-luck!

  • Although you may not have gotten a recording contract, you have endeared yourself to people like me who after long hard days have been soothed by your wonderful singing, dancing and wit. You have a place waiting for you in heaven. You are about to enter an endeavor which will require a lot of hard work. Your music will always keep you grounded. Best of luck. We are all in your corner.

  • @cuz5119 Great comment! I appreciate that! :)

  • I don't know how to do it unless you have a temp email address where I could send you a picture of "my RN", in ER, she loved all the last 20 years.

  • Very good decision Karen, I was a military medic for 20 plus years, first in the navy, then the army finally ended retired from the air force medivac after vietnam. I married a lady that decided to become a nurse when she was in her 50's. She just retired after being a RN for the last 20 yes. She did the CNA first, then LVN, and RN. Nurse's are in short supply all over the USA, so we did the travel RN for the last couple years, getting to live in various parts of the US that we wanted to spen

  • @mac26x98 Thanks for the great comment Mel, that inspires me even more to go forward with my plan. I have always enjoyed medical info, so it should be right up my alley. I just have to take one day at a time and do the best of my ability, and with God's help, I can conquer the large mountain in front of me! :)

  • good decision Karen- It is a profitable profession - I see one major drawback-- With you in those nurse outfits you may induce some cardiac arrest in people with weak hearts - You better insure yourself against those patients who collapse via excitability [ha ha ]- You say you don't smoke or drink any more --You're at the age where you deserve some vices- Pop open a cold one and have a smoke-- Good luck with nursing and don't forget the insurance!! .. LOL

  • Great decision Karen. My wife has been a nurse for 45 years, and damn good one if i may say so, and she has had a great career in it. It takes mental and physical toughness to achieve and I feel you have the physical and have a stong mind and the mental side will come to you quickly. Your positive karma will guide you through I know and good luck and success from me to you; no one deserves it more!

  • Karen, you may be surprised..music is a fickle business, often when you think it will never happen, wham.. something great will happen, that tap on the shoulder will come...Good luck in anything that may be ahead for you.. you have made many friends and supporters....Good Luck!

  • Cough, cough. I feel a cold coming on. Karen, will you check my temperature? Joking aside, I think you've made an excellent choice. Two of my sisters are nurses.

  • Good luck Karen..I hope you do well..I know your kindred spirit has drawn you there... and you will prosper there... Ray

  • @MasterOfHalo4 Wonderful comment Ray! Thank you so much! It will be a very tough job, but I feel that it will be rewarding at the same time. And learning is always a good thing! And the benefits and pay aren't too shabby either lol! But I will admit, I am going to be studying harder than I ever have. I want to do this to the best of my ability! :)

  • 48-Years old? You are kidding us, you dfon't look a day older than 18. Pull the other leg ♥☺ Follow your heart.

  • ciao Karen..

un abbraccio..per la tua carriera.. :)

  • wow karen ,you go for it,I whish you well, all the best to you for your new life,sj.

  • Congratulations on your decision Karen to go into nursing. May I suggest to you to look into the VA system for tuition assistance. I forsee that you will have employment with them and you could also utilize your talents as a singer for the USO shows. I think it would be useful springboard for you. I think you would be so inspirational. Please consider this. Also, I am a registered nurse and physician assistant that you may utilize as a reference or for advice once in the program. .

  • There are always shortages of nurses. As for going to classes, I think that you will find your studies to be easier because you will be a lot more settled down than you were in high school. Best of luck to you.

  • Given your interest in music, why don't you become a music teacher? It's just a thought.

  • Unexpected, but in a good way! I hope you don't stop doing music! BUT I am glad you are going to be taking care of yourself, that is GREAT!!! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! GO KAREN GO!!! :D:D:D I will be praying for you all the way! :D:D:D:D Woohoo! Pursue your dreams!!!!

    God Bless ~Amy

PS: I agree, you'll do GREAT in the nursing profession and brighten up MANY ppl's days!!! :D

  • You will do great. Best Wishes to you! :)

  • WADR, it's just not right to look that good at 48.

  • Good luck Karen, it seems like a very rewarding career, my mother was a nurse and she really loved her job.

  • you go girl, thanks for the update. I have a neighbor who just graduated a couple of weeks ago and now has a new postion here in S.A. You can and will do it just as you succeed at all that you attempt. Hello, nurse!! xoxox FEC 78253.

  • Wow some voice...

  • .... please don't quit passing by here and keep singing for us, and remember that "somewhere over the rainbow skyes are blue". Good luck!!!!!

  • I'm surprised for good!! Shocked because I'm also in a position like yours of making big decisions in my life. I've been employee for 25 years, 12 in my last job, a hospital by the way, that now is broken. The owe me 6 months of salary, an I decided to go on my own (computer repairs). I'm 42 and there are no jobs for olders than 35 here in Cancun so I've been trying and so far it is starting to be a good decision. In few words, yes you can!!! Good decision, changes are good, god speed, but....

  • Working 9 to 5. a.m. or p.m. .

  • YOU GO SWEET LADY!!! You will be a FABULOUS nurse Karen:))) All the best xoxo

  • Karen, you have many talents and a brain, too! :-). Encouraging you to follow your dreams and don't lose sight of them. Whether it be nursing or music, am sure you will succeed in all that you do. Best Wishes for continued success in all that you do!

  • Congrads Karen,I think you would make a great nurse. My wife is a salon owner/operator for 27 years, but with being diagnosted with lupus it is slowing her down ...and some days are worse than others with the pain...well good luck...

  • Good on you Karen,

But i hope that you'll carry on singing for us all.

Your talent in this field is quite remarkable & exceptionally outstanding!

May i take this opportunity to wish you all the very best for your future.

What a gain for the medical industry... want to come & nurse in britain?

    Kind regards, Gary.

  • 48 years? You mean 38.

  • Nursing will be a positive contribution to society and your music will be a wonderful enrichment in your life....and ours. My wife graduated from nursing school but came down with m.s. and so never practiced but for a few months. And is now quadraplegic in a nursing home. So work and live while you can...

  • the Best of Luck Mrs,

  • try it for a while, and then decide , but don`t get bogged down in your decision, feeling like that if you change your mind after a while that you can`t leave . because we are only here once and its prob better that way you know. I will be watching for you .xxx

  • good girl ......

family member here who became an RN last year ...

  • I wish you all of the best, I know you will make a wonderful nurse. You will do great! God bless you my dear friend.......Vicky

  • well I am 58 and the very thing to do is to share!--I just started and and its good to do one thing at a time!--the hard thing to do is to reach people who care to help in Music--most people do back down--its who we know that makes the business grow--please keep up the Great work--Faith keeps us growing!--in other words we are putting our Faith to action!--please think and make the moves you should only!--take care and always be at Heart!

  • Be my nurse? Well, in four years I'm 70, so a nurse with your qualities would be super nice!

    Keep smiling, sweetheart!

Oh! The Very best with your new life! Helping others is a wonderful way to live!

  • Good luck Karen and good choice. My youngest son just became a nurse last year. It is a tuff study program hit it hard.

  • Great profession but there is a lot of lifting of patients... I considered being a male nurse because of my lower back problems I decided against it. So now I work in a paper mill lol and sing karaoke too lol. Your right the music business sucks it's to subjective..It's like playin for the jackpot only the lucky win. You should still try to make it but your doing the right thing and keepin everything in perspective.

  • Rememebr Loretta Lynn started her rela musical career past 40, she even had to cheat a little bit with her age, which make age datas between her and her also famous Crystal Gayle sister not match. But I guess it was other time, when recording companies and producers were still more interesting in music than money, priorities have changed since.

Taking care of aging people must be also such a pain ... this must have to mind a lot...

Well going back to school after years is also harder.

  • Good for you...I'm a nurse, myself!

  • Your talent is music and entertainment.

Nursery maybe, too. But not for an exploiting system.

You are great. Say it and Stay it. Don't change it.

Entertainment business nowadays is full of lies and mediamainstream political brainwashing "messages" correctness.. Indoktrination. Ideologies.

    Antihuman and Antisoul.

  • Karen, Are you serious?

We are living in a capitalisic world.

If you work, you work for the devil.

Every job gets "optimized", "profit maximizing", and "the human object" get exploited to their most effectiveness for the employer.

Nurse job or college school all scams.

IF you want to do nursery, do at a your own. Natural.

"Berufung". To be called for by God.

  • Bye, rather until our paths cross again. May God bless you and protect you! .....Mike

  • Karen, I wish you all the best if this truly is the path you have chosen. It almost sounds like you're riding off into the sunset. I for one, have truly enjoyed your magnificent voice, and your elegance; two qualities that are almost extinct in the entertainment world. If you can scream, willing to wear two Band Aid's to cover the Nipples, staple dental floss to a post it note to cover down below,(I.E. Lady Ga Ga), they'll sign you to billion dollar contract. Karen, I hope this is not a good -

  • Hey Karen, good luck and best wishes to you in your endeavor in the medical field. My cousin is a nurse of 30 years, and teaches nursing JU in Florida. Any licensed position within the medical field is a ticket that will allow you to obtain a job anywhere you choose to live, they are in demand. BEST WISHES, C.W.

  • You will never be without a job in that industry. The x-girlfriend (because she moved to the US after becoming a nurse), and too far away, was 30 at the time she went back to school to do what your doing after becoming divorced. She didn't want to rely on men anymore either. She just focused on that career. She also cut hair for aliving prior to becoming one! I hear she is happy and remarried. She probabally married a rich doctor :) Seniors are living longer, and your making a smart move!

  • good luck

  • Wow that is a plunge, but it's a beautiful thing to do.giving back helping people, nursing is a comendable thing,I know you love & care for people Karen. It's so good to hear you're not leaving us here beacuse Youtube would never be the same without you sweetheart. :) You're like the best there is,who can sing like you? You used to style & cut hair? How cool,I'd love to have you do mine, imagine the challenge that would be? lol ;) You're so cute & charming, love your vlogs. You have so many gifts

  • Whatever you do I know you'll succeed. You're so blessed with the most amazing beauty and talents. You should have been one of the biggest recording artists ever but not everyone gets to be that. Artists with much lesser talents have made it bigger and it's a shame.

Well I'm wishing you all the very best Karen always. Just don't forget us here,we love you! Don't disappear and let me come looking for you in my spaceship ok? lol ;) Big Love and hugs my dear! Go get em! :))) xo

  • congrats on your decision Karen you are a caring person and that is important in the nursing & care industry, don`t let your age get in your way , i am 51 and have just started in caring for the aged and diasabled , it`s a challenge i haven`t been to school in 35 years , found the study easy and realise it`s what i am meant to do , so good luck and god bless Trevor

  • Good Luck in all you do Karen.....

  • Well Karen, you've left me speechless, you've said it all and you are right, you have to follow the path that your mind and heart tell you, thats something I have done over the years, throw "caution to the wind" so to speak, but if it works out for you, well and great, nursings gain, but if it doesn't, you'll never regret not trying &, as one other person said here, you don't know what will happen & who'll you'll meet. Glad to hear we'll still hear & see you on weekends, all the best, Steve..

  • You can be my nurse anytime, Karen. You have the personality for it. Tolerance, and caring demeanor. Best of luck to you. Health care will be a job that cannot be outsourced overseas. Good choice.

  • Congratulations on your decision Karen. I can relate to your experience with your parents so I know that your decision is well grounded. Yes, you can do it. I celebrate your decision to commit yourself to helping others !

  • it seems like everyone goe's to nursing i have a couple cousins who are guy's and my sister has a neice and sister in law we'll anyway good luck

  • Please don't take this the wrong way. I've noticed in my own life and in observing the lives of others, as soon as anyone makes a decision to back off on one dream and transfer their attention to a new dream, that's when something extraordinary happens to make the first dream come true. I can't explain why, but it seems like as soon as you stop chasing one thing to start chasing something else, the first thing turns around and catches you instead.

  • It's tough making choices like this but I commend you for choosing a field that inspires you.

    All the best.

  • You have a very caring heart Karen you'll make a beautiful nurse. Hope everything goes well for you. People will be in good hands with your care.

  • Great decision Karen, i know you will be a great nurse :)

  • Karen, I want to be just like you when I grow up. (I am also 51.) I know it takes a lot of courage to go back to school because I remember when I did it to get a legal degree. I wish nothing but good fortune for you, my friend.

  • Good Luck Karen!!!

  • Good luck in your new career Karen ,Hope you still have time for the odd video though ,because we would really miss your gorgeousness here on the Tube.PS when im in your area can i pop in for a haircut he he xx

  • Good luck to you Karen sweetheart.........you will make it love because you are a nice person and you deserve to make it......I'll always think of you as a good friend Karen, and you have always said nice things about my efforts on YouTube.

I will always keep an eye out for you dear, and watch anything you post.........much affection........ Terry UK

  • Good luck with your choice, Karen. I'll keep following your fortunes wherever they may lead.

  • @mozart140 Lol, Joe! You have got me on the ground, I am laughing so much! You got that right! That will probably be my first job, because no one else will take the night shift! And no, I won't raid the blood bank lol!....But I will sneak out for a "White Castle" with mustard and pickles!....I have college credits, but in all the wrong classes. I took music classes, which is fine, but I never had any intention of being a music teacher, so the credits are useless! :)

  • I make money online with websites and selling ad space, I don't see why you didn't yet started it since several years that I watch your videos. Of course you will tell me you're old and are not confortable with computers. But that is a fake reason, because if you made a little research you'd see many mature women are writing online and making money that way and be able to work from home, no need to commute or going to school.. But anyway, perhaps you want a "normal" job. I can understand that.

  • I'm extremely impressed, karen! best wishes! peace2u! eric

  • my wife went that way at 50 and she is quite happy with the decision. all the best and go for it !

  • Good luck karen. Your a nice person

  • I thought you were going to announce you were becoming a full-time bikini model...but I guess nursing school is also a good decision.

    Roc

  • Good luck with your decision, Karen.

  • Karen, also wish you the best...one thought (I am not an expert on nursing careers) but while you are waiting for the next class to begin, you might still continue to "work" the music angle...you really do have a wonderful talent and I hate to see it go by the wayside. You never know what may happen in the next few months. Either way good luck to you!! Remember your fans love you too!!

  • Good Luck Karen...

I think you would make a great nurse,You have a good heart and you are genuine. You have a good way of communicating with people and putting smiles on faces. I think it would be very rewarding.I hope you have time to share your singing and blogs with us fans and YouTube buddies. Good Luck..........

    Rick ;)

  • All the best to you !! - dave

  • Karen-san I respect your decision. Job that may directly support/help people is the job I wish I could work.. Please keep it up! (^^)

  • No Drinking? No Smoking? No Staying up late? How will you be creative? Have you seen Mick Jagger lately ...didn't seem to hurt him ...oh ..maybe not a good example..but how about Bob Dylan, now he looks very heal....well no I guess not. Ok Gold Dust Woman ...

  • Good morning Kareneng. Thank you for your advices that I will follow. I hope that your blog will be good where we will see many good things. I hope I must see this blog. I regret that in this video you don't sing because you have a wonderful voice and many talent. And I think that you have a great heart. I have many respect for you.

    Respectufully.

    Sergio le gitan

  • but...how many have been trying w/ no success..those lucky few were a fluke..its alot to put yourself through w'/ all the craziness of the internet and yes if you had started when you were 25? how about 15, thats how young they are wanting vocalists to be. Justin was younger than that and so was Rebecca Black (it's friday).. you have to be realistic and i think you doing just that... good luck again..

    Moskii58 / Curt

  • Karen you are going for nursing in place of what? a singing career? nothing to feel bad about... As i understand we as a nation are understaffed in nursing, & i am confident you will make a great nurse.. best of luck to you..

you are 100% correct about tryng to make it in the music business and using you-tube as a launching pad for that. you hear of Justin Bieber, that crazy "it's Friday" girl , and the lead singer for Journey getting their exposure here on the tube & success following that.

  • Half my extended family are nurses, so I get a lot of free diagnosis thankfully. There's always job security so long as ya keep your nose clean to keep the license.

  • good for you. I am a quad, and can't move either. We need more people like you in nursing. There are plenty of nurses that have the job and don't care. Bless you.

  • Congrats Karen!!! You truly are an angel and I wish you all the best... because the best in life is what you deserve!!!

  • I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors, and it's good to know that you'll still be singing on occasion. You always bring cheer to thousands of subscribers, and those same subscribers will be cheering you on through whatever you do. God Bless you now and always, and I look forward to your next video.

  • The medical field is always looking for good and qualified people. I think you will do just fine. I have several relatives who went into the nursing profession and never complained about the long hours and back then, little pay. But the rewards of helping people are long term..knowing you are their ANGEL...bless you and the best to you.

  • All the best to you Karen!I got some good advice a few months ago that may apply to you."That decision is only wishful thinking until you take that first irreversible step. You can tell yourself that you have already decided, that nothing now can stop you, but if that step backwards is so much safer than step forwards, what will hold you true to your path when the going gets tough? Sometimes, the right thing to do is to take that first irreversible step, the one after which you cannot go back".

  • @althazarr Wonderful comment! Well said indeed! And I wholeheartedly agree! ;)

  • Great Karen! Nursing is a noble profession! All the best!

  • So good for U hun! Go for it!!!

  • hi Karen i am so happy you found what yo are searching for.

  • Hi Karen: Good for you, a good profession. My niece is graduating from high school and starts college this fall for nursing. The best of luck to you. Gwen

  • I wish you from all of my heart the best and good luck, dear Karen !! May all your dreams come true !!! I´m proud, to be one of your YT-friends ! Hugs, Lailah

  • Good luck with the decision, Karen ... I worked full-time and studied for 5 years, and qualified in the end, so you can fit in youtube as well I'm sure. The nursing profession would be lucky to have you. And 1a.m. is early for me too ... always tired, although it's a long time since I played the video games so I ain't taking you on there lol.

  • Go for it Karen!! A friend of mine is also studying to be a nurse. Good luck with that decision. I've been watching all your vlogs, but this one truly inspired me to never give up. You'll make a great nurse, I'm sure your parents would be proud of you!!!

    Best wishes,

    Dara

  • Wise choice,as you say most things to do with the aged are in short supply, not just in your country but around the world.

  • congrats on your decision, youl be a great nurse,im sure.

  • Go for it KarenEng

Do what your heart desires, and don't look back. God bless and keep in touch!

  • I'm proud of your decision and I respect that but I'm going to miss you! :( it would be awesome if you did a goodbye song in a nurses outfit! too far? i mean no disrespect i've always enjoyed your videos! im sorry if it offended you

  • Why not become a Playboy BUNNY?....

  • Thats a shame that you never enjoyed hairdressing- I've been doing it for over 35 years now... & I still love it. Nursing will be tough...best wishes with that decision.... Please don't assume age is a factor in the music industry... it is not. - talent is 1/10 th of it... stage prescence(Fire... commanding attention) is the determining factor. I say keep doing your music via youtube for fun & quit worrying about whether or not it will advance you in the industry. Jush have fun.

  • Perfect inspiring decision. The Healthcare field is awaiting special and wonderful people, as you are. There are so many bad nurses out there, that we need loving one's like you to take their places. People need care and compassion when they are sick. They will welcome you with open arms. You have that kind of spirit.. You can brighten their day with your beautiful spirit, beautiful personality and beautiful smile. Guess what? You can sing to your patients daily. Music heals.

  • your the hottest 48 year old on the planet ! i wish you were my nurse.

  • will you wear your nurses uniform in a video? haha jk.....good luck :)

  • nurses are angels so maybe we should call you karenangel now .

  • I know you will do an awesome job in your new profession Karen. You have everything in your favor...youth, beauty and charisma....rock on my friend.

  • You'll be great at nursing because you really care about people and your compassion is genuine. I wish you the very best in your endeavors, and keep singing because you have a talent and a gift that should be used.

  • Nursing is a fine profession Karen:) Very rewarding! I still would like to hear you performing on stage! You will go far in whatever you choose my friend! Keep us posted to how everything goes! Hugs:))

  • That's great to hear Karen! I wish you all the best, and hope that you get what you want, you deserve it! And I look forward to hearing more vlogs in the future as you venture into your new profession.. Have a great weekend ~ Ryan x

  • Very interesting to listen your live story. You are right, i am going out and do it and play music in real life. That is the right way. I do understand you very much.

I wish you that you find the best for yourself and that God will bless it.

    Greetings Dieter

  • Think you will make a fine Nurse Karen!!! The best of luck too you!!!!

  • Good for you Karen! Although, I tend to think you are more Generation X, than a baby boomer.

  • Good Luck to you Karen.. Nursing huh? hmmm well I would say that you could give me a sponge bath any time.. but that might not be so politically correct.. So will just wish you well and hope you accomplish your goal!

  • good for u. i hope i grow up and do something with mine

  • Good luck with everything you do,Karen, age should be no barrier to anything and i know that you will make a great nurse,it will be hard work but i know you can do it!,never give up your music,i can't wait to hear your new song!,what was that about being 25 again?,i thought you were anyway, lol!,by the way,i stay up half the night too,you get so addicted to the internet you can't leave it alone!,go for it,sweetie, you have my total support all the way!

  • It is great that you made a final decision.

Nursing is important and meaningful. You are going to make a difference every day.

BTW I heard that the average career length for a hairdresser is around 8 years (in Denmark) for various reasons but one of the greater is allergy.

  • Karen I think you will make a fine nurse , don't give up your music you are truly talented (:

  • I just read an article today that Doris Day is coming out with a new cd and she is 89 but its funny when i was incognito my channel was doing great but every since i let people know how old i am my channel has been like a ghost town.My thoughts have been much like yours but good luck in your new venture and yes i know its hard to walk away from music

    Peace
