They signed a contract that also stated that although they would be taking the main point of the Witchblade they would be changing the story around so that it had nothing to do with the original text. Meaning that the Witchblade can be activated whenever she is in danger (even at night) and there is no Darkness in the story. There are only iWeapons, Neogenes and the Ultimate Blade (can we bared by a male).

She hit on Masane and also kissed another Neogene and yeah it would be more erotic but this isn't meant to be based just around sexual things. It's also about a mother's love for her daughter.

I'm a big fan of the anime

BUT

the boobs bugs me, how they're constantly the centre of attention, with their size, and especially HOW they're drawn & accentuated

I would've liked more action, more seeing what the witchblade could do

a lot of the time the witchblade's power looked kindu soft compared to the clones & stuff.

@prototypevenom777 It's about a woman named Masane (or Nasane) [lol] who six years previous to the actual show finds herself with the Witchblade around her wrist. When the anime actually begins, the witchblade activates and she transforms into a badass with badass powers who does badass stuff and looks hot while she does it. I don't care who you are, even if it is an anime girl (the voice is a real girl) it drives you wild when she pulls the "I need this now, this will satisfy me..!" mm!! ^_^!

@prototypevenom777 I don't think it is Sci-fi at all really, the Witchblade was created as an experiment and then people wanted it to be bared by men and wanted more of them so they made Neogenes (women who bared clone blades), iWeapons (designed to hunt down the Witchblade) and the Ultimate Blade (a male version). I don't think women have to be big boobed to make a good anime. I really like Integra from Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate over Victoria.

@wolf123951 Well, have you seen the show?? There is a lot of fanservice in it, but the story and characters are actually quite good. And in fact, Top Cow did sign off on this project and this is considered canon to the Witchblade universe. In other words, Top Cow acknowledges the story and characters as being a part of the Witchblade's history.

Totally agree with you there. Also, in a lot of anime I have seen; the "little kid" character seems more like an annoyance than an element to help boost the story. What I mean, some anime seem to throw in a little kid just to have a little kid.

Rihoko really helped develop Masane's character (and the story overall), and was actually enjoyable to watch as well. Plus she was super adorable lol

You are about half way through the series then if you are at that point. She doesn't get her second transformation until the last few episodes. I won't say much more, don't want to ruin it for you, but I like the overall story of this Witchblade series.
