Chloe did love Jimmy. But in my opinion he wasn't her soulmate, she found that in Davis. I think she did truly love Davis but she was way too afraid to admit it to herself. But in 2:52 the way she screams "Clark" you could tell how she deeply cares for Clark. Which in my opinion killed her relationships with both Jimmy and Davis, because she always picked Clark above everyone.

Wow, in that one second 2:53, when Chloe screams "Clark" and runs to the lever. I think pretty much that scene epitomizes their relationship. She will always love him and choose him above everyone, even if she can't be with him.

If Davis did have to die (though I wouldn't really want that), this is exactly how he should've died, unlike the stupid psychotic behavior leaving him and Jimmy dead. Here, Davis wants to die to save Clark and Chloe, which was a noble thing I've ever seen him do!

This scene's so poignant. After that moment between Chloe & Davis, how could the writers tell us in the end that she only did all this to "save" him, that she didn't love him ! Come on !

I know. I always believe that everyone deserve to have redemption in a lifetime if they want it. But being created by General Zod for destruction, there can be no redemption in Davis' case. That line also gets me sad every time I hear it as well.
