If the Prophet pbuh is not dead, then why did he say to Hazrat Ayesha r.a, "No Prophet is taken by death until he has been shown his place in Paradise and then offered the choice to live or to die." before he lost consciousness? What does this verse mean? "Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of Judgement shall you be paid your full recompense." (Quran 3:185)? Prophet Mohammed pbuh has the ability to intercede only on al-Qiyamah if you worship Allah SWT alone.

Mixing men and women without a curtain or just a see-through cloth is wrong. None of the scholars approve it but they are overruled by moderates who own the halls and mosques. I see it happen a lot here (Holland) but also in other western countries (youtube lectures). Together with women not wearing proper hijaab and the men not behaving themselves. @eliohana It's shirk when the caller attributing godly powers to another but Allah. Calling the Prophet (sallallaahu ealayhi wasallam) after he passed away was done by the Companions and there are hadith that describe these practices.
Also we can't call the martyrs dead, why call the Prophets (ealayhimus salaam) dead? If we call the Prophet (sallallaahu ealayhi wasallam) we ask him to do dua for us and intercede for us.
I know there are people doing ruku/sajda at graves, that is haraam ofcourse.

The proofs are rather counter to their beliefs of invocations. So be careful what you do and check information for yourself before you make any comment.

So moral of the story is, everybody follows their own opinions. Bilal Phillips has dalil for his opinions, and the arab scholars have their own opinions based on their own dalil. :) WAllahu musta'an.
Some of the things that Bilal Phillips teach in his lectures might be too extreme, and nobody is free from making mistakes, may Allah forgive him. All of us make mistakes, even scholars do make mistakes, we should not blast at them and critisize them for their mistakes or differences of opinions. We should all look at the good he has done, esp in his da'wah to the non-muslims. I do not agree with some of the opinions of every scholars, but i take the good ones out of every one of them.

Produce a dalil frm the Salaf that we must study with isnad. :) IF studying with isnad is so great, then your knowledge must be strict upon the sunnah, but the sufis teaching has strayed from the sunnah, and they teach things which has no basis in the qur'an and tha shahih ahadith.

I study with scholars who studied in Makkah and Madinah, and we use books written by Imam Bukhari, muslim, Imam Nawawi, Al-Hafiz ibn Hajar, ibn kathir, ibn qudamah, the 4 madha'ib etc. Books of Ahlus-Sunnah. What they bring to us are the methodology of the Salaf. And who says the 'salafis' have rejected the isnad? the shaykhs i study with

Salamaleykum, I'm so confused now, a few years ago when making duas, praying to Allah (swt) I used to also invoke prophet Muhammad pbuh and others. Later people told me this is shirk. So I stopped doing this and asked Allah (swt) for forgiveness and still do, however after watching this video Im thinking am I wrong, was I actually doing a good thing or committing shirk? Im sure I was wrong about using other names like Hazarat Ali R.A etc but was I wrong about using Prophet Muhammad pbuh's name?

We are all alive in our graves...after we are put 6 ft under, we get questioned 3 questions. And then we go from there. Abu Bakr said the following after the Prophet's death: Know that Muhammad was a man, if you worshiped him, know that he is dead, but if you worship Allah, know that Allah does not die. So all you Calling Bilal Phillips misguided are in turn calling Abu Bakr Misguided.

For example, could there be a thing that the prophet did or the companions did that went unnoticed and no recorded? A million things of course. But we are not doing these things. The usage of daif hadith is allowed for motivation or tasawwuf (Ihsaan). Quraan and Mutawatir Hadith for creed (Imaan) and Sahih/Hasan for Shariah/Fiqh (Islaam)
@TheZaherul It is not possible for some acts of worship by the messenger of Allah to not be recorded considering even such small details were recorded. For example, the way he urinated, they way he kissed his wife and the way he walked was recorded and is regarded as the Sunah. I was told making dua after every ibadah (prayer, fasting, dhirk, etc) is recommended as it is one of the times dua is accepted. I unfortunately have not looked for a hadith to confirm this.

its kind of simple really. all muslims regardless of what sect or school believe in life in the here after. for eg: - when a muslim dies, he either goes to heaven or hell depending on whether he lived a good or bad life. this is a basic belief whether u are sunni shia etc etc

Anybody visited by the angel of death is classed as dead in the technical sense as in they don't interact with the living in the conventional sense. The prophet s.a.w. Though having passed away is alive in his grave and does appear in peoples dreams as an when he chooses (by god's leave). The Ya Rasoolullah debate is abt presence and love. We can say Ya w/love or Ya at the prophets grave or if we r lucky 2 c him in a dream bt not Ya in a sense of him being omnipresent. Only Allah is omnipresent.

If the Prophet pbuh is not dead, then why did he say to Hazrat Ayesha r.a, "No Prophet is taken by death until he has been shown his place in Paradise and then offered the choice to live or to die." before he lost consciousness? What does this verse mean? "Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of Judgement shall you be paid your full recompense." (Quran 3:185)? Prophet Mohammed pbuh has the ability to intercede only on al-Qiyamah if you worship Allah SWT alone.

Mixing men and women without a curtain or just a see-through cloth is wrong. None of the scholars approve it but they are overruled by moderates who own the halls and mosques. I see it happen a lot here (Holland) but also in other western countries (youtube lectures). Together with women not wearing proper hijaab and the men not behaving themselves. It is just ignorance, lack of knowledge. It a sad situation.

@eliohana It's shirk when the caller attributing godly powers to another but Allah. Calling the Prophet (sallallaahu ealayhi wasallam) after he passed away was done by the Companions and there are hadith that describe these practices.
Also we can't call the martyrs dead, why call the Prophets (ealayhimus salaam) dead? If we call the Prophet (sallallaahu ealayhi wasallam) we ask him to do dua for us and intercede for us.
I know there are people doing ruku/sajda at graves, that is haraam ofcourse.

Some of the things that Bilal Phillips teach in his lectures might be too extreme, and nobody is free from making mistakes, may Allah forgive him. All of us make mistakes, even scholars do make mistakes, we should not blast at them and critisize them for their mistakes or differences of opinions. We should all look at the good he has done, esp in his da'wah to the non-muslims. I do not agree with some of the opinions of every scholars, but i take the good ones out of every one of them.

I study with scholars who studied in Makkah and Madinah, and we use books written by Imam Bukhari, muslim, Imam Nawawi, Al-Hafiz ibn Hajar, ibn kathir, ibn qudamah, the 4 madha'ib etc. Books of Ahlus-Sunnah. Salamaleykum, I'm so confused now, a few years ago when making duas, praying to Allah (swt) I used to also invoke prophet Muhammad pbuh and others. Later people told me this is shirk. So I stopped doing this and asked Allah (swt) for forgiveness and still do, however after watching this video Im thinking am I wrong, was I actually doing a good thing or committing shirk? Im sure I was wrong about using other names like Hazarat Ali R.A etc but was I wrong about using Prophet Muhammad pbuh's name?

Abu Bakr said the following after the Prophet's death: Know that Muhammad was a man, if you worshiped him, know that he is dead, but if you worship Allah, know that Allah does not die. The usage of daif hadith is allowed for motivation or tasawwuf (Ihsaan). Quraan and Mutawatir Hadith for creed (Imaan) and Sahih/Hasan for Shariah/Fiqh (Islaam)

For example, the way he urinated, they way he kissed his wife and the way he walked was recorded and is regarded as the Sunah. So surely,the Sahaba would record an act of worship and to disagree would be mocking the intelligence of the Sahaba (ra)

@weezyfbaby604 The sunnah is also how the propher (saws) accepted and rejected acts and states of the believer. There were many things his companions did, that he did not commence, but he accepted as he saw no harm, but only good in it.

I was told making dua after every ibadah (prayer, fasting, dhirk, etc) is recommended as it is one of the times dua is accepted. I unfortunately have not looked for a hadith to confirm this.

its kind of simple really. all muslims regardless of what sect or school believe in life in the here after. for eg: - when a muslim dies, he either goes to heaven or hell depending on whether he lived a good or bad life. this is a basic belief whether u are sunni shia etc etc

Anybody visited by the angel of death is classed as dead in the technical sense as in they don't interact with the living in the conventional sense. The prophet s.a.w. Though having passed away is alive in his grave and does appear in peoples dreams as an when he chooses (by god's leave). The Ya Rasoolullah debate is abt presence and love. We can say Ya w/love or Ya at the prophets grave or if we r lucky 2 c him in a dream bt not Ya in a sense of him being omnipresent. Only Allah is omnipresent.

read the Quran. I think you'll find Allaah has commanded the muslims to be united. I dont think trying to embaress and humiliate some body/ a sect is going to be any use. and Im pretty sure that's not being united.
and we wonder why we're so weak and being humiliated by the kuffaar...aint really surprising the way we're going on about things.

@j1ggab00 the scholars of ahle sunnah wal jammah promote nothing but unity. I have never heard any REAL scholar (person who is authorized with ijazah etc) from ahle sunnah calling for other than that. They are 'ulema and it is there job to clear the ummah from falsehood and re-establish (key word there 're-establish' not 're-form') the sunnah of the Messenger saws and his companions May Allah be pleased with them. Even the shia misguded or not are considered to be our brothers by the 'ulema.

@18744cal that's exactly what i was trying to point out akhi...because of the current division of muslims (different sects, nationalities etc) Muslims are weak and not able to show what Islaam is truly about. If Muslims were to unite, no-one would be able to humiliate Muslims; such is the strength of Truth over falsehood.

Why do neo salafist starts argumnets/fitnahs/ disagreements? when the neo salafist start it, the Ahlus sunnah wa jammah refutes it, then the neo salafi calls for unity and wants muslims to stop attacking neo salafist. looks like this video should shut the neo salafist up with their slanders!
And no one DIDN'T TRY but REFUTED (humilated) neo salafist falsehood!

Subhan Allah, not only do wahhabis oppose the scholars of Ahlu Sunnah but even their own deviant imams. Their beloved Ibnul Qayyim confirms this in 2 of his books 'Hadil arwaah' and in another book called 'ar-Ruuh' in which he uses Abu Bakr as an example.
Whats even stranger is that Mohammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab himself confirms it in 2 books "Ahkam tamanil-Mawt' and in his book 'Usul al-Imaan'
May Allah give victory to Ahlu Sunnah and wake these Anthropomorphisists up before its too late.
