  • so what? now istead of painting the cars we are going to put the stickers on them? souns stupid

  • why not just paint it ????? lol

  • @blueStrat5 because its not permanent. If you want your car colour changed for a while or just to protect your original paint then wrap it. If not and you would like permanent paint job - then paint it.

  • So buying this shizzz!!!!!!!!!!

  • could you put some clear coat over the top to make it last a liyyle longer? or have i just completely missed the point? :p

  • @OLL13666 missed the point. A car wrap can be used to protect your cars original paintwork as well as change the colour. They Last around 5 years and maybe longer.

  • Looks sweet! Couple questions, can you treat it like paint, can I do it myself, how much would it cost (to have it done/to do it myself)? Thanks!

  • reminds me of latex

  • is it cheaper to get raped or painted?

  • @taylormator raped because rapists work for free

  • @taylormator i think raped

  • the only problem i can see is taking it off after

  • @achillesV its fine, and will last 5 years or more. When it comes to taking it off, apply vinyl remover and carefully peel away. Then you have your pristine, un marked paintwork that the car has under the wrap. Wraps cannot be re-used.

  • Where are you guys located?

  • I dont understand the point of this, its alot of work to put plastic wrap on a car.Im sure it wont last long.Iunno i believe i could paint and clear cheaper and for longer results then sandwich bagging it. Oh well it was a fun video,I love people and the ideas they come up with.Have fun guys.

  • how much does something like this cost and how well does it hold out against the elements of mother nature???

  • can this car still be washed, waxed, etc?

  • so why wrap insted of paint??

  • And how cheap they had to wrap the wing and side mirrors with "carbon fiber" wrapping. Fucking stupid. It looked better as it was.

  • @Lateralusum you obviously have different taste in vehicle modifications. maybe you should learn to accept the fact that people like this. its not your car what do you care? some people think it looks good some people dont.if you dislike it so much why did you take the time to watch the video and leave a comment. the title says "GTR wrap" i assume you know what that means, and yet you still clicked on it. what an ignorant ass internet tough guy. youre a nerd, and thats bad. LAWL

  • You are adding unnecessary weight by wrapping with that colored ugly stuff. The R35 is a sports car meant to be driven to it's fullest potentials. Why ruin it with something like this? such a beautiful car. I'm not saying it doesn't look good, it looks just like a paint job.

  • @Lateralusum the point is to not look like a wrap. its supposed to look like paint and at the cost of an ok paint job it should.

the added bonus would be it can be removed. and you dont have to retitle your car as an orange one its still white so sales etc would go smoothly. and value of still being original paint increases. as when removed it will look as good as the day the wrap was installed. 5 or more years down the road

the 1lb you add can be reduced by eating one less burger.

  • @racerc2000 and as for the carbon wrap. it is cost effective. you dont require real carbon pieces unless you are looking for weight reduction. 500$ to get the carbon look? or 5000$+ in the same parts replaced with carbon ones.

  • @Lateralusum but a paint job is permanent and exposed to the elements, this protects your original paintwork and does not require a full paint-job to change the colour of the car, and weight is negligible, it is only vinyl film. The wrap can be any colour or design / print you like, so ugly stuff is just your opinion of the orange.

  • Nice job, Guys! It's pretty amazing what goes in to doing something like this.

  • Wow! amazing great job. how long does thing last?

  • Nice job.

  • It looked better before.

  • So what is the point of that wrap? It certainly doesn't make the car go any faster..

  • @Lateralusum

its surely less expensive than a complete repaint

and saves alot of time too, i like it

  • @Lateralusum Ya...because EVERYTHING we do to a car is supposed to make it go faster. *rolls eyes

  • @Lateralusum almost like a paint job isn't it?

  • Great wrapping work. It all comes down to skill. Nice work guys

  • how much would it cost to do something like this?

  • carbon fibor mirriors.. i bet you guys were pretty thankful for that!

  • The Orange Dildo.. haha.. Its sweet

  • People wrap their cars because of the cold weather, as arctic temperatures can fuck paint.

  • Very well done, just seems weird to me that he wrapped it and not painted it....

  • badass!

  • whats the name of that orange thing that they use?

  • Fastest Taxi!!!

  • Now do this on an old 1972 Vw Bug

  • Its like a big ass screen protector LOL : )

  • Don't let it melt of in the sun. :)

  • Dear Santa ....

  • Guys this is sweet if this happens to be cheaper than paintjobs a whole new in body work is here!

  • is this cheaper than paint ?

cuz if it is ,we are talking about new ERA of car color vehicles

( well I think I might change color every month or week)

I mean if anyone wants it

this is just starting right ?

  • Oh Dear !

  • who ever thinks this is a stupid idea

you should be fucking beheaded and fucking left to rot on the side of the fucking road

  • @DaPepsinator wow man lay off the coffee and pay someone to hug you lol...thats a bit harsh maybe? ha ha

  • @DaPepsinator

Search for 'vinyl wrap'... And read some facts 1st before you mouth-off about something you obviously know nothing about.

  • look at facemotors.eu wrapin gold chrome....

  • wwwwwwoooooooo

  • tats actually pretty smart..cleaning wud be so much easier and dirt wont stick forever on that vinyl. plus the ori paint will always be at best condition

  • shoulda just left it white....:/

  • why??

  • That is so cool!! How hard is it to remove when your done?

  • How many meters did it take to wrap this car ? Was this using a 61cm x 9.1 meter roll ?

  • nice work guys!

  • Look at the door at 0:49 ........ And then look at it at 2:49 :D

  • look like krwwaappp :)

  • how durable is it? Im curios if it loses its shine, or how it holds up to a rock chip.

  • What happenes when it peels off?

  • Guy's the number's say it all 84,025 views. The most watched GTR Wrap on You Tube, People like it ! and so do we at Car Skinz and were very Proud of what we do. Thank You for all the very positive comments.

  • @CarSkinz1 you guys do '10 BMW e89 z4?

  • @CarSkinz1 protects from the elements? is it washable?

  • @TajikRaven yes and yes!

  • Lame standard of wrapping

  • The way they pull the vinyl on and off the car is a sure fire way to get shit behind the vinyl........ Amateurs!

  • Armor All loves it!

  • a nice colour for the GTR. good work guys.

how on earth did you cut around them door handles? looks like one of hardest bits?

  • so..does it need waxing/ polishing too?lol

  • is this legal or illegal?

  • how hard is it to remove without wrecking the paint ?

  • @turner593 its super easy. with heat, you can just peel it right off without residue.

  • this is supposed to cost somewhere between $300-600 depending on the car, seeing this took 4 days I dont think it costed that

  • HOW MUCH DOES THIS COST

  • @McChief1993 About 300-400 €

  • hi, do you reccoment using an adhesive before adding the vinyl or is the adhesive on the back of the vinyl good? where do you get the vinyl from?

  • @BIGDAN1993 from ebay :)

  • 3:33 i bet the owners pissed that u mucked that bit up on his gtr

  • @iaevilmonkey well noticed i skipped that bit, being a blaster i still think its a good job.

  • Woaw! alguien me puede decir, Donde Comprar ese Forro??? Por Favor?

  • how much do these vinyl wraps be costing?

  • NOYCE!!!

  • Good work, even better music! Who made the tunes?

  • they do good work

  • Music? Sick groove!

  • whats going to stop someone that hates you, from simply pulling the vinyl off?

  • probably looks like shit when you open the door

  • @deba94 If you want to have that part wrapped, you can.

  • @deba94 why would it? All you have to do is cut it to size flush with the body.

  • @deba94 wat u mean?

  • @theory816 at 2:37 he opens the door to finish the wrap, but there clearly isn't enough material to wrap the thickness of the door. The width of the door is still white.

  • @deba94 oh lol

  • @deba94 proper wrapper, also wrap's door sills :-)

  • @deba94 yeah does anyone have any pictures of a vinyl car wrapped i want to see the door jams

  • @deba94 You don't drive with the door open, dickhead.

  • @deba94 Or hood for that matter. It's sad to have such a beautiful car and be ashamed to pop the hood.

  • Where are you guys located? I'm in LA area.. Let me know please

  • How much did that cost ?

  • what happends when it rains?

  • 3:15 - must have been a b**ch to fit the vinyl into the tail lights niche?

  • Nice!!!

  • can it be removed at a later date without damage to the original paintwork??

  • Why not just paint it??? I mean I understand doing the chrome or carbon fiber. seems pointless to me. Great job though!

  • @Mr88Nismo2 Painting a car ruins its resale value. This car can be reverted back to stock colour by very simply just removing the vinyl.

  • @DaveHDReviews yea it'll probably cost you more to remove it than put it on...

  • @DaveHDReviews wrong, if you keep the vinyl on, and parts that dont have vinyl, will fade due to the suns exposure, while the vinyl covered parts will look newer... have seen it many times, think about when u see a van that had vinyl decals and they removed it, u still see the letters :)

  • @junglemage666 The whole car is covered in the vinyl nothing will fade more then anything else.

Also theres no "Letters" on this car. try again pal.

  • @DaveHDReviews and the paint will be newer looking than most others due to it having a protective lining

  • @DaveHDReviews ha ha ha ha@ the above comment spray painting a car proffesionaly increses its resale value specialy when the car has been painted in matalics and pearls, then again when ya peel the wrap off thers always a chance that the pain can peal of from under the wrap.

  • @massivemak No idea what you just said. try again in English.

  • @DaveHDReviews that was truth with classics. these new cars wont last that long with all the electronic. being well take care, it'll last 20-30 years...

  • @DaveHDReviews you cant see yourself in vinyl

  • --How many feet or meters did it take for the full body of the GTR to be covered?

--What was the measures for the width and then how many feet of it was the length that you guys used for the whole car?

  • Great video! How many metres would you recommend for a golf-sized car? Thanks!
