@Containforum An extra $7 USD isn't that bad then. Securing everything else with clamps, those compression fittings are nice but really expensive. Will be running liquid cooling for an i7-2600K, GTX 590 Hydro Copper, and Kingston HyperX H20.
The faceplate does not screw on to my Res/pump properly.
Its not aligned with the holes, or I think one of the holes was drilled slightly off centre, so when I place the plate it looks out of place with front case.
There is one brown wire and one blue. Is the blue on the fright and brown next to it? I was braiding the cable and I took the cables out of the White molex fitting but i forgot in what order they go back in.
I have one running an ek supreme hf (round top), ek asus R3E block, and two ek fc470 gtx blocks. Im planning to put my 3rd gtx 470 under water soon, and I decided to switch to a d5 + xspc bay res for it. I don't feel this pump can handle my current setup and the upcoming 3rd block in the long run. though temps have been quite nicely.
It comes with a Blue LED. The red in the video was from my red Cathodes in the case. :) You can change the LED. Just buy any you want. It has holes to put the LED in.
@KarateKid430 I actually tried to push it in so I could cover it with the original covers. But it just wouldn't go in. Unless you want to heavily damage the reservoir and get it stuck inside the case.
why would you add pt nuke to your coolant? its only for distilled water not coolant if you wanted to further buffer your coolant for algae protection you should have added the pt nuke -phn which is made for that purpose. Don't be surprised if a chemical reaction occurs and you have gunk all over you waterblock and pump etc.
Because the liquid coolant doesn't protect against algae on it's own. It is supposed to, but this particular one didn't and I had algae in my pump/reservoir.
It is the CM Cosmos S. It's alright for cable management. Many cases are better though. And it does have a good amount of space for Liquid cooling components.
@Containforum - I've been looking at the 800D, which is alot more expensive, but also the HAF X, but mainly the HAF one. This also caught my eye of course ;)
Why so sad

Did you actually say, that you should tighten the barbs with a wrench?
NEVER do that!
ToneportGX 4 months ago
I am assuming they include barbs.

@TheSecretCobra
No. You buy them seperately.

Why the hell does it have to extrude? Can you push it in, or are there any like this that don't extrude from the front of the case? Thanks!

Thanks for the video. I wasn't sure if I wanted this res, but the vid cleared everything up.
Thanks again.

Is thi easy to fill once fitted? I'm looking into using one of these, not sure whether to totally switch to water cooling.

@RyanK733 - Sorry, commented before the part of the video :)
Plus, is that a CM Cosmos? - If so, is it really good for management of cables, and a good space for the H2O cooling?

Also, is PT_Nuke needed?
RyanK733 1 year ago
@RyanK733
Yes. If you don't use it then you should use Silver kill coils. Otherwise Algae will begin to grow in your system.
Containforum 1 year ago
@Containforum Oh, I ain't having no little bacteria crap in my system :P
RyanK733 1 year ago
@RyanK733
I actually had algae grow in my old pump/reservoir. With PT nuke those problems are now non existent.
