  • Succubus, it was actually pretty decent in my opinion, I rated it a 6/10 to be honest. Chessy, yes.

  • Gary Busey.I wanted to comment on what you said they had listed for his movies. Here is a guy who was nominated for an Oscar which he should have won for The Buddy Holly Story.Probably the biggest Oscar snub in the history of the Oscars.Anyway,I would have thought they would have listed this movie, and maybe some of his more memorable roles such as Lethal Weapon,Point Break,Under Siege,Thunderbolt & Lightfoot,Let's Get Harry,Drop Zone,Foolin' Around,Silver Bullet,Eye Of The Tiger,& even D.C. Cab.

  • @TheFlamingoKid84

I'm not sure if Im familiar with The Buddy Holly Story, I will have to check it out. I'm surprised they didnt list better films either. Wow D.C. Cab, haven't thought about that one in ages!

  • @Absolutsublime1 Yeah definitely check that out. That's the film that put Busey on the map.He was so good in that role.I mean he learned to play guitar and sing like Buddy Holly. It was an amazing performance. He even looked like him too.

  • If you liked Swamp Thing, they actually released the "R" rated version originally and a mother complained about it,so MGM pulled it and re-released the version you have.Basically what they did was release the "R" rated version as a "PG" version. It has some alternate language and had what fans of Adrienne Barbeau always wanted to see,a consistant shot of her breasts.I'm talking about the scene where she is bathing in the water. They showed more. There was also some more nudity in the film also.

  • I'm just curious. Did you like Underclassmen? I heard a lot of people blast that movie. I just wanted to know what you thought. Keep making those AWESOME DVD updates, my friend. :-)

  • @saarbt

I havent seen Underclassman, that's the one with Nick Cannon right?

Thanks, hope you have a great weekend!

  • lol i love the way you say "i dunno" at 1:05

  • Haha ok :p . Did I say it funny?

    How have you been?

  • gina davis and jeff goldblum were in a few movies together in the 80s, "earth girls are easy" is one of them.

  • Yup indeed, that was a fun movie, Jim Carrey and Damon Wayans were also in that one, good 80's cheese!

  • Great deals, cool pick-ups!

  • Hi Jay - I would like to recommend a great movie to you, definitely worth picking up, its called Crossing Over and stars Harrison Ford. Its about immigrants trying to get status in the USA and also the clash of races / green card and naturalization and terrorism in the country - very, very good movie-its in the same vein as Crash. Just thought i'd mention it because I know you are always curious about seeing new good movies. Take care man

  • Hey Ryan, thanks for the recommendation. I have not seen that movie, so I will definitely check it out, I appreciate it!

I will say though I did not like Crash. I am a big Harrison Ford fan though.

And certaintly let me know about any other good movies.

    How was your weekend?

  • no prblem, your welcome and i'll be sure to keep you updated on any new movies that are worth checking out.

My weekend was actually pretty well, thank you, i've was on stay at home vacation for a week so that was nice, just was relaxing and catching up on some movies. How was yours? Hope it was great and your doing well also!

  • Ah a nice stay at home vacation for a week, sounds fantastic! A lot of my friends who are teachers were also off for a bit. I have to admit I love days that I can stay in and watch movies all day :p.

I went to a local comedy club and saw Tom Arnold, it was a fantastic time, he was very funny and friendly.

  • hey Absolutsublime1 can i tell you something that happen to me on saturday?

  • Of course you can

  • Awesome reviews hahah anything with Gary Bussey rocks!!!

  • Swap Thing was okay at best but like most films by Wes Craven, its really not worth owning....IMO!

And thats the onlty one ive seen, sorry jay I wish I could say more..

Tap two(1G), play ENCHANTMENT: AWESOME VID JAY!(Pay 2 and Jay successfully has another great video. )

Tap one(B), play Dark Ritual (Add BBB to your mana pool.)

Pay BB to enchantment, and I manna burn for 1, because I can :P

  • Hahaha Andre YOU are awesome! I Loved Dark Ritural by the way, I had a couple nice mono black decks, and a couple burn decks with them too.

I liked Nightmare on Elm St, Serpent and the Rainbow, People Under the Stairs.

  • OH MAN! you should have seen the combo i did last night! first i made all my lands swmps, then i let out 3 Dark Rituals, then I tapped all my manna to play CONSUME SPIRT: pay X1B, does X damage to target player or crature, I drained my friends Serra Avatar of 17 (its power) but i also enchanted it with DEATH WATCH(Cost B:if enchanted creature is put in graveyard, controller loses life = to toughnes & i gain life = to defence) in one turn i went from 16 to 50!

DEAR GOD dont aprove this comment!

  • Hahaha I soooo approved it! I gotta start looking throught my boxes I think I kept a few cards, I can't recall if I kept a deck or not.

I bet a lot has changed since I last played.

  • D'OH!!

    DO IT!!

well you last played 5th edition? I stared at 6th and 7th and I read on a forum that there were changes made AT 5th, but I'm not sure what they are. It's still an easy game and fast to pick up, stuff like Morph, Thresh hold, and kicker cost are kinda annoying complications i dont need sometimes but Im willing to deal, I'm even learning the mechanics of the Planeswalker cards. Not that i want to play them, i want to make my own! one for each member of the Triforce! (Zelda)

  • That Death Watch card is nuts!

  • its one of my Faves!!!

  • GREAT VIDEO

  • Great DVD update man!! You can always find some interesting 1.99 and 3.99 movies.

Hope your weekend was great and have a great week!!

  • Some b movie greatness there..lol...Interesting stuff.

I actually enjoyed Exit Wounds...Not exactly a "good" movie, but watchable...I thought it was funny.

  • hey bro, you rearranged your room? i don't see the Bender head anymore. great video as usual.

  • WU Jay? :-)

  • WU Jon! How have you been? How was your weekend?

  • SOS bro...went duck hunting inb 75 degree weather saturady, which sux...

  • lately...the cheap bin has been my friend, lol. I love Swamp Thing...and I agree the series was better. Uh, dude I didnt really care for Exit Wounds So I guess Ruff Riders applies to DMX in more ways than one! HA. Devin Sawa kinda feel off the map to my knowledge. I havent seen him in much in quite a while. Very interesting pick ups Jay! Great vid.

  • Hahaha love the Ruff Riders comment!

Yeah I almost didnt post this, as I wasnt sure people would want to see these pickups, but I figured why not, we all have cheesey cheap movies in our collection right?

How was your weekend? How is the little one?

  • Cheap movies are always a good thing!

    Succubus actually sounds very decent!

I've actually always wanted to watch Swamp Thing.

Dream Slashers looks like something I would pick up!

I need to watch Transylvania 6-5000.

Great choices man, cheesy is not a bad thing all the time :D

  • Andrew my man! How was your weekend?

I almost didnt post this but I figured why the heck not we all have cheesey movies in our collection and for a $1.99 a movie why not!?

  • Swamp Thing is like every other Craven film. Full of FAIL

  • BOO HISS! I liked Nightmare on Elms St, People Under the Stairs, Serpent and the Rainbow. Swamp Thing is more for cheese appeal and memories.

  • I'll conceded People Under the Stairs, but really I think Nightmare 1 is a little over rated, good but not perfect like evyone seems to think. and its hard for me to accept Swamp Thing because of Allan Moore.

  • I've seen a fair few of them...most of them are worth the price you paid for them.

  • Hahaa yeah, I mean for a $1.99 why the heck not, even if the movie sucks at least I didnt pay much.

  • Fair 'nuff

  • Cool update man!

  • What happened to your Dvd Shelf ??? I loved the Swamp thing great finds

  • Good eye ;) this was actually from about a month ago and I never posted it, mostly because I wasnt sure anyone would be interested in hearing about these movies.

I decided the heck with it and uploaded it anyways, besides we all have cheesey movies right? Plus for a $1.99 why the heck not!

  • I buy cheap dvds too, sometimes you get lucky and find something really cool. It definitely worth it. Nice pickups

  • Thanks! I almost didnt post this because I figured most people wouldnt want to see cheap movies like this but I figured for $1.99 why the heck not, and we all have cheesey movies in our collection, right?

  • Absolutely, I think people enjoy seeing what good deals I'm able to find, so I always include the cheap ones in my updates.

  • Awesome! I agree!

So I remember you're a Chiefs fan, how do you feel about them letting Larry Johnson go, especially right before he could break the rushing record for a Chief?

  • Well when he had those two great seasons our line had three future hall of famers. Not to mention our fullback Tony Richardson. The things he did off of the field were inexcusable. I really liked Priest Holmes, so I'm glad he'll keep his records.

  • I buy a lot of cheap dvds too, sometimes you get lucky and find something awesome that you've never seen before. So its definitely worth it. Good pickups
