I can actually make sense of this cartoon, it's an allusion to Soviet Russia, the metal bangings and the factory scene, then the line up of poor workers buying food on the street, but the spiral vortex is open to much discussion

@dorourke105 Actually there REALLY WAS a "Worker and Parasite" cartoon series. One was East German and there was a Soviet version in Russian. I lived in West Germany in the 80s and sometimes we could see them when the communists had enough electricity to transmit to the West.
