can you help me.....my german shepard/greyhound willow....he loves to run and jump so we got a dog agility thing for him....im trying to teach him to go on his own but idk how! plz help me! hes only 2 so i hope itz not to late
First you need to teach the command to go over the jump. Put him on his leash and run him over the jump a lot and say "over" while you go over the jump, then reward him after the fence. He will soon learn the command :-)
i hav two 7 month old puppied n im teaching them to jump now. um can u give me some advice n they can kump little x'es i taught with a leash n sometimes i sit on the other side of the x n call them n they will jump it most of the time . but now i want to get serious wth this hopefully make them agility dogs (if my parents willl let me show them). even tho they may not show i wood still want them to be my very own backyard agility dogs
btw my dogs are about goin to be the size of your dogs but taller than yours. they are muts from off the street (rescue) but they have a little pitbull thing going on they are brindle colored
