I hate this camera, I got it for Christmas and should have returned it right away. It is slow and difficult to operate due to button placement and monitor position. it's not comfortable to hold, it is too small, too light weight and I feel like I am going to break it

yes you can, it has 37mm accessory threading. find a fish eye with 37mm threading and ur good to go

Well Im not selling any DXG camcorder so I don't really care . and the vpc-TH1 was $300. plus first now is only $199.00 US . this is the resolution for the DXG QVGA(30fps), WVGA(60fps), 720p(60fps), 1080p(30fps) and 5 megapixels fotos and Xactic 720 (30 fps/ 9Mbps) 480 (60 fps/6Mbps) 480 (30 fps/3Mbps) fotos it is 2 megapixels but only 1600 x 1200 efective. not bad for old technology Google it. BYE.

I bought this camcorder like 3 days ago, I tested and compared to my old DXG-595V HD and my DXG was by far more video quality than this one, of course the Sanyo has more features, but the video is better with the DXG, so I returned the Sanyo and pay $30.00 restocking fee at the Radio Shack HA HA HA now I will get the Sanyo FH1 and see what happen.

How come wen i transfer the vids to my computer and i watch them it looks as if the video was cut in half and theres like a line across the video horizontally.? Its not a black line or even a colored line its just an invisble line. Does that make sense.? :P

I think the old-fashioned lens cap is a great idea because it means a threaded UV protection filter (37mm) can be attached to the front of the lens, protecting it from dust and scratches.

This camcorder records in MPEG 4 format... which isn't compatible with WMM. Unless you have the version that comes with Vista Premium. To edit the HD files you will need a fairly decent Processor on your computer. My computer is 2 years old, and struggles to edit HD files. So when it comes to buying a HD camcorder and wanting to edit the videos, you also need a decent computer to be able to do it.
