  • My gosh you guys, it's a cover. This talented girl is simply doing something she loves, but never once does she claim it as her own original song. Enjoy the music already :P

  • Omg when she sings "soooo bad" it gives me chills

  • I'll DEFINITELY be waiting for when you're a billionaire... You've got all your cards right for what I can hear. KEEP IT UP!!

I wish I could hear people sing like that on our streets here...

  • messed up the lyrics, again.

  • @josemiguelvelez It's called making it your own.

  • @jamierh693 cool, so it's like when someone steals a car they are "making it their own"

  • @josemiguelvelez No, it's not like that. From jamierh693's context, "making it your own" refers to musicians modifying the melody to reflect their personality. With your context, "making it your own" just means stealing. If you want your analogy to have any effect, avoid using the fallacy of quoting out of context.

  • @NattN2718 no need to be hostile, but to correct you, I said she left a word out, words and melodies are two different things. I'm not the one that used the analogy the first time, I was the one correcting it. Thanks!

  • @josemiguelvelez Well, you did deliberately misrepresented someone's argument; minor hostility isn't exactly out of line. Also, I didn't notice that she left words out, that's why I thought you meant melody when you said lyrics. Also, I'm pretty sure you're the only one who uses an analogy in this comment page. You likened musicians "making it their own" to someone stealing a car and "making it his/her own." So, I'm not sure what you meant by not being the first to use it.

  • @NattN2718 You are confused, let me help you, I said "messed up the lyrics, again." Then jamierh693 said "It's called making it your own." I then compare it to stealing a car. You chime in about melodies. I corrected you about lyrics vs melodies. All I'm saying is she left a word out. Who really gives a crap about a an unoriginal street performer copying (incorrectly) someone else's music. Feel free to reply but I'm done with this conversation, I have better things to do. bye.

  • @josemiguelvelez No, you're the one who's confused. As I've said before, I didn't notice she left words out. That is WHY I THOUGHT YOU MEANT MELODY when you said LYRICS. As for the difference between lyrics and melody, I'm fully aware of that without your correction. Also, what is this statement regarding originality, I never stated it nor implied it. Please stop misrepresenting people's argument. P.s. I hope one of those "better things to do" involves improving reading comprehension.

  • such an absolutely beautiful voice

  • She's awesome! I love her version of 'Billionare' more than any of the others :P

  • she's good!
