Hear what God of Israel YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH (Son and Father are ONE) saying to our generation by His chosen prophets: Trumpetcallofgodonline. com ; Letter called "Purify Your Faith, and Come to the Father as It is Written": EXCERPT: "Only in the Bible and through these very Letters, of which I have given to My prophet of the end of this age, shall you find Him and know Him."
God I've been asleep so long, I've been away Back from software limbo the natives call today I let their promises bind me The seductive logic blind me I embraced a machine, went through the routine I hid from the people who were trying to find me Till the day comes when you realize Otherwise you never care Pandora's box reveals a new surprise Can't wait to see your eyes Now you've been tantalized
All that glittered had me mesmerized Otherwise I would have dared Guess the nature of our enterprise Can't stop to sympathize Now you've been tantalized I turned up in some harsh doomed city on another plane I couldn't believe the room I got, the guests I entertained I felt the dirty streets surround me Let the buzzing swarm confound me I gave money to ghosts, I insulted my hosts I could never get off the stuff that spellbound me
Saw the Church live at Perth's late, oh so missed! "The Shents", Reptile tour.Next to the Smithereens at the Old Melbourne, best gig I've ever been too...Loud!/,Melodic, Unfuckingbelievably good!!!!!!!!!!!...Just like the era.
The more i listen to this the stronger the hold... this is one of their "magical" songs though faster and louder than most -- it's everywhere in the song but especially in the vocals -- the layers are amazing
@callum710 I didn't say the music itself disgusted me, I said it was the fact that awesome stuff was being rated lower than someone who has autotuned him/herself beyond the point of recognition. Said person also having not written the "lyrics" nor created the backing track, yet earning 35.5 times more than anybody with actual talent. (That's an awesome quote by the way!)
@callum710 I wasn't born in the 1980-1990s era so therefore if time travel was possible I would be going to a time that was before my birth. Me having not existed before April 1996, couldn't exist anytime before that. Yes time travel may be possible, but only to times within your own life.
i love smoking and listening to this album. i was in high school when this came out. it was like MANNA from heaven. their guitar interplay is brilliant (and not highlighted enough in the production) and the lyrics are generally very elliptical and strangely poetic. a good friend saw The Church open for Echo & the Bunnymen...I can only imagine how great THAT was!
Not that great really? Have you listened to the whole catalogue & solo & other projects - I believe Steve Kilbey was one of the most prolific artists during the eighties.
@callum710 Hmm, fair enough, just not without its flaws.
A) I'm not a drug addicted waste of oxygen.
B) I can't go back to the 80's time travel is physically and conceptually impossible.
and c) People are going to be thumbing this down like crazy. D) I have plenty of understanding towards all kinds of music, meaning whatever you listen to doesn't fall into the same category as the former.
and finally E) If they weren't good enough to make anything good, why are you watching this video?
Crackin video, crackin song from a cracker of an album.
ARIA Hall of Fame....yes! About time for some proper recognition.
I recall yawning through the Melbourne Commonwealth Games opening four years back, and perking up when Under the Milky Way was announced... the crap coverage had the cameras cross to show the actual band playing for a few seconds shot during the entire performance. Piss poor!
