  • nice collection great work beasley hot rod

  • great collection!

  • are you giving away any of these? cuz i want one i dont know where to buy them

  • @fastXXXXXhemi lol no - at this stage its growing bigger! As for buying these, the majority came from local department stores and toy shops!

  • how long have you been collecting your ncollection is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome! are you like a millionare are something. my collection is like nothing compared to your awesome collection! any way TOTALY AWESOME COLLECTION. Did i mention that it is so awesome hey what your favorite car of yours?my favorite care of mine is my2009 corvette stingray concept please try to answer all my questions thanks

  • Thankyou! Lol, one doesn't need to be millionaire to have these, just time and patience! I started collecting these proper in 1997 (however the red and black Alfa was acquired in 1989) and started building the plastic kits in 2005. I don't have a favourite as such - though I do like building models that are commonly seen as regular vehicles, but are rare to find in scale model form...

I haven't got the largest collection of models in my area either - a friend has a collection of over 3000 1/43!

  • man i can't even get to collect any of my model..sometime i mess up and sometime when is come good..ppl always offering me a good deal.

  • that is an impressive collection

  • nice collection! It's better than mine :)

also, is that a Honda Prelude I see @ 1:37?

  • You have a fair few good cars yourself (ie I have not encountered an Olds Aurora, Ford Fusion and VW Passat sedan in model form as yet!)...

The car at 1:37 is actually a Prelude rival, a 1987 Subaru XT/Vortex/Alcyone - I will have a vid of the car up soon, a difference being that it is motorized.

  • thanks!

just to let you know, Auroras in model from are heard to find. I found it on eBay last year

  • This is a great collection. You have alot of them that I have never seen built before.

  • Thankyou! (It took me a while but its grown well) - actually there are a few I had not seen myself in shops or since (Nissan Skyline 4-door, Toyota Echo, Ford Capri Zakspeed)

  • Brilliant collection, reall like the peugeot 205 rally car, is it by bburago by any chance?

  • Thankyou! Yes the Peugeot 205 and 405 are Bburago diecast (I like the Bburagos), done as kits.

  • hey nice collection and good work on the plastic ,i am a collector as well ,i also will have a vid soon, keep up the good work.

  • Hey thankyou! For the plastic, primer makes all the difference to the end product...

  • WoW! A video finally! HaHa!!! Awesome collection! Take it easy and keep building.

  • Ah yes, theres more buildups too coming sooner rather than later lol!

  • A very nice collection but I'm embarrassed by how many cars I couldn't identify!

  • Hey thanks Chuck! Yes, theres a few here (Fiats, Japanese Domestic Toyotas and Nissans) that are not sold on the US market, or here in New Zealand for that matter!

  • nice!!! one big ass collection

  • Thankyou - its got bigger since too!

  • Man thats a cool collection!! You got some sweet builds and some awesome diecasts!!! PEACE!!!

  • Thankyou!!! 12 years odd of collecting, and 5 years of plastic model kits worth here!

  • nice collection . thanks for sharing must took you some time to set all them up .. thanks

  • Hey thankyou - Lets just say it was several trips to and from the house with several suitcase loads worth!

  • Dang- thats alot of models.

Someday i should get a video of the den where most my stuff is ( some is still back north at the folks) - i gave up counting them years ago - i stopped at 100 1:18 scale diecasts - 200 hotwheels , something like 100 1:24 diecast and plastic cars ......dont ask how many Hess trucks or vehicle Christmas ornaments i have- theres two large totes of ornamants and a pile of the other.... i call it my retirement fund.

  • That is quite a collection you have - esp with the 1:18s and the hotwheels (packaged or unpackaged?)

Unfortunately due to moving house soon all my models are all in suitcases, though when I get to the new, I will be putting all on display again :)

  • Hotwheels are still all in thier packages- i was lucky enough to get some frames that are specifically made for 1:64 vehicles in packages so those can be displayed- i have a couple boxes of em still in the closet. The 1:18 and 1:24 scale cars are almost all still in original packaging - a few i have out for display or didnt come with boxes. I still have a ton of unbuilt plastic model cars that are still waiting to come out of storage- both here and back at the folks- it gets to be a challange.

  • That is a collection to be proud of... :) :) My favs are the Volkswagens in various guizes, especially the campervan and the old style Beetles... :)

  • Hey thankyou! I have always liked the Beetle (both front and rear engine models), hence I aim to collect models of them through the years! I'm pleased I have both convertible and hatchback models of the new.
