Please do not deprive what you have just witnessed, the acting by Sir Ben Kingsley is one of the finest acting performances you will ever see, its brutal and honest, it does not conform in any way shape or form, the reason Godfather is the film it is, is because of the brilliant script, Kingsley is superb and we as the British public must not cheapen the acting by comparing it to anything else, it is unbelievable, it takes hold of you and you are genuinely scared...
a clockwork orange is a GREAT. fight club was interesting. taxi driver was pretty good. the shining? have to disagree here. full metal jacket was not really my thing. my list goes. :

Personally i think the film Sexy Beast isnt great, Ben Kingsley was probably the only reason i watched it especially after seeing his role in Lucky Number Slevin. Ray Winstone played his character well but he doesnt add the grittiness that we all know he can do well.
The best supporting acting by an actor in a under budget film, together with Willem Dafoe for Shadow of the Vampire, Alec Baldwin for The Cooler and Kevin Spacey for The Usual Suspects.
Thats for sure. Kingsley created one of cinema's most unforgettable monsters.

Was watching this the other day, i love this scene, Ben K is an awesome actor.
Chopper is a good film, also, i've watched the Godfather films probably about 5 times each. Part 2 for me is the best.
