I just found out that music is 'haram' (forbidden) in Hadith-based Islam. Interesting! I remember hearing something like that when I was younger, they talked about how Islam is a religion that stones fornicators to death, chops hands off children for stealing food, treats women like sub-human creatures, or rather material possessions to be used and managed by men, AND I heard that music is forbidden. Yep. Music is forbidden. How DEHUMANIZED and DUMB have we become to accept this bullsh*t?
What is the history of this evolution? How did the enlighetened teachings mutate into THIS without people recognizing the inherent evil in it? This machinery of control, this ugliness, these angry voices forbidding THIS and forbidding THAT, all justified by the threat of eternal fire, punishment and chastisement in the Hereafter. Where did Hadith come from, and how did it integrate itself into Islam so effectively when it is SO evil and DETACHED from Creation? It's mind-boggling to me...

(continued) Quantum Solutions, you will discern Baha'u'llah's and the Bab's truth through the Holy Qur'an's prophecies. This truth can be witnessed in the loving, steadfast Baha'is falsely accused and imprisoned in Iran's "Islamic" and inhumane prisons; they refuse to recant their faith in God. It can be found in average Baha'is teaching everyone about the truth of the Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon Him). What other evidence do you seek of the Baha'i Faith's divine Nature?
After viewing and responding to your video concerning the Baha'i Faith, I later became curious about how your obvious high 'quality' of mind and heart expressed itself further. I found this video; I was not disappointed.
Yet, it is clear that you, like many others in this age of "trust no one", are depending upon logic. Logic is limited as it pertains to religious truth. Baha'u'llah as the "Spirit" of Truth for this Age can be trusted. Please suspend disbelief.
@MrUser51 One can only have "disbelief" in contrast to a set belief, and since belief is unique to each person (even if there are group-based similarities), it seems odd for someone to encourage specific beliefs since the suggesting person has no idea what the totality of another person's belief system is. "Religious truth" can never be since all religions are designed around the idea that they contain this "truth." The competing "truths" can even become destructive...it really needs to end.
@tvswnet If I understand you correctly, yes, we do have quite different perspectives on religion. Your focus is on "the totality of [a person's] belief system. Mine is that such a system is secondary in importance to Allah's (God's) Revealed Will, as expressed through His One Religion -- Judaism, Zoroastrism, Christianity, Islam, the Baha'i Faith, etc. The Baha'i Faith is God's latest Revelation. Thus "Truth" has been bestowed upon mankind once more. Truth is one; man divides it.
@MrUser51 While yes, we do seem to have different perspectives on religion, we absolutely agree on you last sentence :-) I really have no problem with religion, but I do object to belief policing which seems to be part-and-parcel to the religious experience in most cases. @quantumsolutions in najh ul balagha khutba 127, Imam Ali (just after the battle of siffin) says:
'there will be 2 groups who will go astray because of their belief/disbelief in me:
1) those who have extreme love for me& will go astray by letting go of the Truth; so much so that they will start to hate the companions & make them their enemies..they will make me like a god
2) those who will hate me extremely . He meant the kharijites & will leave the Truth because of this hatred..'
@quantumsolutions Then Imam Ali says: do not go to the ones who are extreme in my love & hate companions & do not go to the ones who only love the companions & hate ahlul bayt.
Be on the middle way who love both, respect both, learn off both etc
Once Prophet Muhammad pbuh was asked who will be on truth? He replied those who follow my sunnah & be in a jamaat (congregation). Companions asked what is your sunnah & what is jamaat?
@quantumsolutions He pbuh replied: Sunnah is my way & Jamaat is my companions way
Remember, the companions include ahlul bayt. Every companion is not ahlul bayt. But every ahlul bayt is a companion.
Ahlul bayt of Prophet Muhammad pbuh (household) Imam Ali, Fatima Zahra, Imam Hassan & Imam Hussain Love both, the companions & ahlul bayt otherwise you are off the straight path... peace
exactly the same people that Muslims revere today as supposedly the saints of Islam, and companions of the prophet are the same ones that disobeyed his wishes after his death. and yet their stories are worshiped to the point they clearly take precedence over the Qur'an. does this make sense? how is Ayisha the best wife when she is credited with the great Fitnah? how are these people obedient and beloved if they made Hadith after Muhammad cautioned they would answer for it to the creator?
@quantumsolutions 1. The world's people do care. Islam is from Allah. Where is its Truth? As you stated, men have corrupted it, just as men, down through the ages, have corrupted every Divine Revelation. They have persecuted the Holy Messengers, these Suns of Truth. They have condemned Their followers to death. Not just Muslims, but Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, each condemned by the others.
how did u come to the conclusion what Ali(RA) should have been the leader?
i mean how do know what u read is truth?i am just curious, since know some of my fiends became shia by reading their books, well, as u said this sunni/shia thins nonsese , i coundnt agree more,, can u plz tell me the sources u referred, i am interested
@2009mixmax I didn't really read too much but listened to lots and lots of stories that I had never heard in the mosque. Though the Sunni's don't refute the stories they never shine a light on them either or even give them a passing mention. And if you hear some of them you'll begin to wonder why.
But yeah, it's all hearsay. We live in the here and now and have lots of good work to do it we're going to earn our place as True Vicegerents of this glorious earth.
I don't want you to think I'm hammering on you with these questions. But as you stated concerning the West and a 'reform' movement, I do not view it as 'reform' but as a return to the original deen perfected by Allah in the Quran. Surah 5:5
As a Christian, I used to think Paul was a Prophet! In looking back I still boggle at my misguidance due to man. When I reverted from Christianity to Al-Islam, I had to start over from the beginning.
@Surah72 Oh, yes. well then maybe I'm using the wrong word. I envision 'reform' as a reverting back to the original, much like reverting to Islam is a reverting back to your original nature. I remember I felt like a kid re-discovering EVERYTHING when I came to Islam. Everything finally made sense.
And then I went to the mosque----lol.
And hammering can be good. It can forge good things---like horse shoes. =))
@Surah72 Yes, yes. I certainly don't want to heap the sin of slander on myself. May Allah (swt) forgive my errors and guide me ever closer to the Truth.
I have never heard of such a proof in favor of Abu Bakr, but in terms of how we should go about determining who are the rightful individuals to lead this Ummah, perhaps we should turn to the Qur'an. On this specific issue I would point to 2:246-251 and the implications involved, in terms of Talut's appointment as the Imam of the time not appointed at a prophet's or the people's whims rather he was appointed by God through the prophet of that time. Peace. :)

We care, Quantum Solutions, we care.

Much love to you sister. =))

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that something else is more important than fear. ~Ambrose Redmoon
"That is Satan frightening his friends, therefore do not fear them; but fear you Me, if you are believers." Surah 3:175
Fear is an aspect we are taught to hold for Allah. Surah 5:44
Show me the names of the 'Companions' or the wives in the Quran and I will believe.
Until then, should we be slandering people unknowingly? Surah 24:16
Something to ponder.
Good vid.
Peace.

@ quantumsolutions
I don't want you to think I'm hammering on you with these questions. But as you stated concerning the West and a 'reform' movement, I do not view it as 'reform' but as a return to the original deen perfected by Allah in the Quran. Surah 5:5
As a Christian, I used to think Paul was a Prophet! In looking back I still boggle at my misguidance due to man. When I reverted from Christianity to Al-Islam, I had to start over from the beginning.
Will you?
More to ponder. :P
Peace.
Surah72 1 year ago

In peace.

Bismillah salam alaikum sister
I have never heard of such a proof in favor of Abu Bakr, but in terms of how we should go about determining who are the rightful individuals to lead this Ummah, perhaps we should turn to the Qur'an. On this specific issue I would point to 2:246-251 and the implications involved, in terms of Talut's appointment as the Imam of the time not appointed at a prophet's or the people's whims rather he was appointed by God through the prophet of that time. Peace. :)
