  • Brooker has the most amazing bluesy voice, but this video's sound doesn't really capture it to advantage. I have always loved Procol Harum and especially Brooker.

  • Bass player Alan Cartwright used to live next door to me in the 70's. Cool guy. Great band too.

  • Every configuration of the band has been great but it's always special when Matthew Fisher is there. My first Procol show was 1967 at the Anderson Theater in NYC - that was pre-Fillmore. All they had out was their 1st LP and they played all of it. Another highlight show was around 1971 at the Academy Of Music on 14th St. in NYC. The opening act was Yes, 2nd on the bill was King Crimson and Procol Harum headlined. That was onefor the ages.

  • Thank You.

  • I was at this show in LA. I played in the Palers Band while they walked in. The greatest moment of my life. God Bless Procol Harum and all who was a part of that weekend. Rock On !!!

  • I remember you, and Donna Blue too! She told me how Cerdes introduced her to Procol. Bless us all!

  • Thanks for sendi9ng this to me --Frank C

  • Awesome!!!! Mark just fits right in!

  • Great video thanks much.

  • I love this, lucky you

  • Met Gary once and he is intimidating, but once I did that I found I could talk to anyone with ease inc. the late Bill Graham...oh well, good tune.Keith was very cordial, but somewhat shy, talked with him twice...a shame about th row over AWSOP although I have to take Fisher's side on that,

  • judge said should have been settled like gentlemen 40 years ago. agreed fischer has the hook. actually instituted by Jersey girl. and old friend

  • Could someone please upload Pilgrim's Progress, my favourite Procol song.

  • if you don`t look ........like being a hippy ! ah hippies ain`t that cool

    just a beer thing !

  • Great job to a great song!!!

  • Shiiiit even this gives mi the sadass whosane blues!

  • me too

  • good men.

    nice experience.

  • WORD

  • It is to be celebrated that Matthew Fisher has at long last been creditted with composition of Whiter Shade of Pale. He wrote the best keyboard melody of the century, and is the true genius behind the longevity of the track

  • Matthew Fisher is the only member of this group I've felt comfortable speaking directly to. I admit I am overwhelmed when it comes to speaking directly with Gary Brooker.

I know it is SO SILLY but, to me, it's almost like looking into the face of GOD.

Matthew is the true soul of this band. Keith Reid the intellect and Gary the expression. Gary is the finest "blue eyed" soul singer alive. A truly GREAT musician.

A Whiter Shade of Pale is my personal song of transcendence.

  • I was there! It is too bad that Gary Brooker and Matthew Fisher are in court this week suing over Whiter Shade of Pale, we are blessed to have seen them on this magical night when all was well between them.

  • THANKYOU!! this is like the Procol I remember! I'm also a Procol fan since '67. Brilliant you were there to record this.

  • Many Thanks! I STILL believe this is the greatest band ever was. Words! Organs! that Robin Trower Guitar! Gary's Voice!

  • Thanks.

  • Very Cool! :)
