The Beatles make me not want to create music because nothing can possibly ever compare to the unbelievably amazing music that they made so much of. Everyone's heard some thing by Nilsson - "One", "Everybody's Talking" etc. Besides, just because a lot people have heard of something doesn't make it good. Most popular music around where I live is shite. And when you live in Liverpool, the Beatles are everywhere and they get on your nerves. They were nowhere near as good as people made them out to be. I don't condemn their importance though.
