Ya know, since Jimmy Neutron started out as a 3D movie and then made into a 3D show, they could probably do the same for Toy Story, like Toy Story Shorts...except 15 minutes long each. (Of course it would look like the Penguins of Madagascar, but it would be a good show.)

Lasseter talked about it on the dvds saying "ABC asked us to do a series a shorts" I can only assume they did it themselves. now, they might not have gotten their best animators on board, or spent as much time polishing, but I believe it was done by them. The TV budget probably has a lot to do with the lower quality of these.

Guys listen. You have to look for symbols on the menus in the new DVDs, they are Easter eggs. There is one toward the main menu that has a list of all the shorts. Check it out

@AmishParadise27 Cant speak on the new DVD only releasess, but they are on the Blu rays. but most DVDs these days are lacking content from the Blu rays so thats nothing new.

That said, are you sure their not on there?

It has the audio commentary, the sneak peek on TS3, Buzz Lightyear Mission Logs: Blastoff, Path to Pixar: Artists, 3 30-second long shorts on Pixar history, Black Friday: The Toy Story that never was, and Buzz Lightyear in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. But nowhere can I find the Toy Story Treats.

@baxter22071990 No. It was about how Toy Story wasn't the same movie that you saw today. Originally, there was this overwhelming desire to make Toy Story edgy, for adults, and so they made Woody purposely throw Buzz out the window instead of just it being an accident. On Black Friday, the day before Thanksgiving of '93 or '94 when the previewed it, it didn't go well. It wasn't funny, it was like 2 hours and 30 minutes of the most mean people.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, who pushed the idea for this edgier Toy Story and who was at the time the chairman of the Disney studios, quit his position after a dispute with John Lasseter, the director.

Pixar changed Toy Story, and another preview when overwhelmingly well, and the rest, they say, is history.
