  • Has losing your depth perception hindered your geocaching abilities? Just curious. Glad to see you recovered well and was able to get back to what you love!

  • @hopelesslyinsane

    No.

I don't find urban caches anymore, just the ones in Wilderness areas.

  • Oorah! You are a true soldier. Keep the vids coming. Thanks my Geo-bro!

  • Thank you, Jeff, for showing us your bravery. I am older and want to push myself a little. Nothing compared to what you are doing. Hope you are doing well. 1500 caches. Wow! When I had one eye covered after surgery, I could barely tell where things were. Carry on Jeff. :-)

  • i feal realy bad for you hope your fealing better now

  • Wtf? What does having one eye have to do with anything?

  • Hi I am having my eye removed in two weeks thanks for your video journals it is helping me see how long the recovery time is. I had melanoma 10 years ago and the radiation caused glaucoma so I am now taking it out.

  • @mshupino

Your welcome, and good luck with your surgury.

    Take care!!

    Jeff

  • @mshupino Ow

  • That is awesome.. 8 days after surgery!! How many caches have you collected since? Glad you jumped right back in. I know this is a little cliche but, what does not kill us makes us stronger. Good for you!

  • @brinelson25

I've found around 1500 geocaches since the surgury!!

  • @GEOCACHINGJEFF 1500!! I only JUST discovered geocaching. Right now I'm sitting at 3, hahah! People with thousands of finds make me go O_O

    Someday.

  • good video

  • Dang brother!!! Glad to see you can still do a very fun hobby.. Im going on long caching run tomarrow....

  • i felt bad for yoou

  • Stumbled on your video by accident...my cousin, Doug had the same issue with melanoma behind one of his eyes. At this point, with 1 or 2 surgeries, he still has the use of it, but it is touch and go. I'm glad you are doing what you like in a nice area.

  • Great video. Very pretty area too.

  • You weren't kidding that you wanted to get right back into geocaching. Pretty area.

  • I'm used to going on 5-10 miles hikes, but I was only able to hike 2 1/2 miles to grab this 1 cache in the Sandia Mountains before I wore myself out. Going down the trail was much harder than going up with 1 eye!!

    Thanks for your comment!!

    Jeff
