thats traffic is rather good! i live in beijing 18 years ... and in this video the cars are still moving... sometimes people get stuck in the road for 2 or 3 hours and just move for 100 meter and cant even find a place to pee...
I see the 2nd Ring Road isn't exactly an expressway, but rather a main artery with frontage roads. Aren't the 3rd-6th rings full expressways? Wikipedia has a great section on Beijing Ring Roads, with lots of pics.
Not exactly, the 3rd and 4th are also of the same structure, having a primary uninterrupted expressway and a collectors lane on outside. However the 5th and 6th are highways. It's actually quite a good road system.
It's a total shithole and a drive-through Mcdonalds like U.S.A. aint gonna make it any better.
