  • I am getting this procedure done on march 14th. It is pretty intimidating.

  • @aokusman1 I am planning on getting this procedure done as well inbox me and let me know how everything went?

  • Yes i am agree with you.A good dentist is that which have complete knowledge about oral health. The one major thing we have to consider is that their work experience.

  • I don't fucking get it do they give you something that looks like a tooth or is just metal

  • @Jackass333303 The implant is the metal post you see in the video. It will then have a crown fastened to it once the dentist gets it back from the lab (usually about a week later)

  • @rutileblue This patient will later have Locator attachments screwed into the implants. The implants are being used to retain a denture, not crowns. 4 Locator attachments on the top and 4 on the bottom, that her dentures will snap on to. And it usually takes 3 months before the implants integrate with the surrounding bone, and then the Locator attachments are inserted, and then the denture is fitted to the attachments.

  • @drfloss327 how would the patient be able to eat and what would the patient be able to eat and how long will the patient be in pain?

  • @shortladyj1982.... She can wear a "temporary" denture, although it will need liners and adhesive to make them comfortable and for retention until the implants are ready to be used to hold in her denture. When they are ready, the necessary attachments are added to the denture so that the denture snaps onto the implants. These Locator attachments hold a denture in very tight.

  • Nice post.Thank you for sharing some good things!!

  • haha "she's kind of sleepy" ffuckk that shitt

  • ive not been to the dentist for 20 years ...looks like its going to be another 20 b4 i even think of going ..this looks like butchery not dentistry lots of pain and blood

  • @darren8773 as long as youre brushing and flossing everyday you'll be somewhat okay.. but i still urge you to go and get a check up. what youre seeing isnt whats normally done at a dental check up visit.

  • THIS PEOPLE WANT TO MAKE THIS SIMPLE THING LIKE IF THEY WERE DOING OPEN HEART SURGERY!! IS JUST TO RIP OFF PEOPLE'S MONEY THEY CHARGE

A LOT OF MONEY FOR IMPLANTS THAT ARE GOING TO FAIL, SO YOU CAN EAT APPLE SAUCE

  • Please use tripod.

  • What the fuck, when I had this done I just had local anaesthesia and they used a drill and drilled a titanium screw into my jaw.... And let it heal for 9 months (My dentist died so I ahd to wait longer than normal) and they put a ceramic tooth on and viola

  • @jimmi19731 Congratulations :) You deffinatly did not go this dentist... Wierd thing is this video is most probably a Private dentist also

  • I got this same procedure done yesterday and it took about three hours. It wasn't that bad. IV Sedation helped :D

  • look at her nose

  • Im sorry but this "doctor" doesnt not seem like a pro that is some sloppy work. and I am sure they are not supposed to be using their fingers to hold the lips open. I trully hope this person got through this ok

  • @florezittta10 idiot,they are.if u dont know shit about smth stfu before insulting people.moron

  • fainted

  • i find his work too messy and sloppy... theres a lot of other dentist can do way better than this...just saying.

  • Benefits of dental work in El Salvador:

    Highest quality of Central America,

Fraction of the costs of same procedure in US,

    Short flight.

    Lorenzana Dental Center..

  • so far so good, but what about the rest of the maxilla?

  • MOTHER FUCKER I PUKED

  • @seekdestroy1121 why do you watch a surgery then?

  • Look what funny cloth they wear last time when I saw this was the landing onthe moon.

A lot of work to place this ugly incongruous titanium screws. better you watch truly anatomic immediate zirconia implant videos.

IMPLANT PLACEMENT IN LESS THAN ONE MINUTE!!!!!!!!!!

  • WTF am I watching??!! Gross. I had tooth surgery I was under general anesthesia . Ha!!

  • do they put you to sleep or just numb you?

  • @ColorCouture011 asleep

    dont u hear her snoring

  • @britt6140 no I guess I have horrible hearing:p

  • @ColorCouture011 i guess u do cause i showed this to 5 of my friends and they all heard the snoring XD

  • i would never go to this dentist.. horrible work, way too many hands in this poor persons mouth, they have no idea what the are doing! so annoying to watch

  • This is truly sloppy work

  • No Minnesota!!!

  • 1. Cheek/Lip retractors should be used.

    2. The tip ot the drill should only come in contact with the guide and nothing else.

  • @egorum good luck,my friend.hope they work out.it must feel great to be able to do this for yourself.

  • omg i always have nightmares of things happening to my teeth after i had braces this just looks like a entirely different level of horror!!

  • my teeth hurt just wtching this video

  • why is her blood so thick?

  • *barfs*

  • what a carnage !!!

  • very nice

  • woah .!its so painful .!argh. !

  • woah .!its so painful .!argh. !

  • It was nearly $3000 for just this one tooth. But, I had to to have them lift my sinus, bone graft and the implant.

  • lool, she is snoring :P

  • Omg look to painful y is there no teeth.

  • Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

  • Please tell me your asleep when they do this because I have to do this

  • Holy god that looks like it is gonna hurt when you wake up.

  • i was eating and this turned on gross!!!

  • are you awake during this how much does it cost

  • @saulski90 No you are not awake but the cost varies from patient to patient and depending on the docotor. I need just one tooth replaced but because I would need a bone graph, my wisdom teeth removed to aquire bone for the graph and the doctor is a rip off it would cost me about $7500 for one one tooth but yet my grandfather had all his teeth removed and implants put in which only cost him about $12,000 for his whole mouth

  • I've watched dozens of videos for implant surgery and I would have to say this is the sloppiest I've seen so far. Poor woman probably suffered horribly during and after surgery.

  • What do you mean by " guides?" & where should they be placed? I am considering having an implant but your comments make me scared as it looks as if this guy did not follow certain aseptic & safety procedures...

  • I had this done on a tooth today....Im soo glad I didnt search this before hand lol YUCK!

  • @Monicasdestiny how much did you pay?

  • This looks like very amateurish work! Where are the guides to make sure that the implants fit in exactly the right place? This video is enough to put off anyone contemplating implants!

  • Thank you for uploading this video. I am a sophomore in high school but I have been on the path to becoming a dentist since first grade. I am very successful in academics and continue to intrigue myself by watching videos such as this one.

    From Jimmy, UT

  • Is this how dentists advertise? It's brutal I wanted to become a dentist now..... Forget it this is madness!!!

  • I think what viewers need to keep in mind is that this is a *serious* case. Not all implants require such sedation, etc.

  • How do you prevent the patient from drowning in their own saliva? We see it being suctioned around the areas of surgery, but what about all of the saliva that pools in the back part of the mouth? How is that drained?

  • omg i have to get this done in a few months im afraid now

  • Are you kidding me? Thank goodness her tongue wasn't punctured

  • Good surgery, awful infection control.

  • Comment removed

  • this looks like a scene out of saw or hostel...ewwwww

  • should b clean

  • FUCK

  • OMG

  • Yeah, they should use water to keep the bone from overheating. Also, not the best surgical technique or infection control for that matter.

  • ewww

  • Had this done today but i was awake :/

Plus they used a suction and water to clean the area.. But yeah. Fun times

  • Is this bargain basement implant surgery? Holy crap, this is damn near butchery.

  • oh my I seen other videos arent they suppose to use water or something during the procedure to keep the area clean?

  • thanks God that i studied in Germany.

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • sedation too deep and insufficient control over airways: patient snores repeatedly

    drill touches non sterile tissue

    tongue touches implant bur
