I found A More efficent 10min pulser...

the main idea is spliting the input in to 2 ways 1 is going directly to the pistons but i is missing 1 block ( yes block caz redstone can pass blocks) and the secound is connected to a piston that would puch a block to the missing redstone block...its a bid more complicated but its more efficent...and saves alot or room and easyer to understand

@IIxAero If you want it to reset automatic after it's activated without you having to press any button, you only have to use repeaters and make the signal go to the torch that is on when it's active. Remember that you at least need one repeater because without one the torch would burn out which could cause some problems.

OR you could have used a t-flip flop and a monostable circuit. you connect the dispeneser output to a t-flip flop then have the outout of that to monostable circuit. therefore it fires every other time, and it only sends a pulse because you have a monostable circuit

Hmmm... I have a similar set up for my cane farm (10min timer) but mine is 2 dispenser timers in series. I have about 15 plants, but i only get about 5 growing up each time, and thats not even to full size. Ant said his used to be growing to full size in 5 minutes, and i doubt they increased the time that much, so does anyone know what might be wrong?

i've managed to make a 40 minute auto sugar, melon, pumpkin, cactus farm and a 80 minute semi auto wheat farm. eg pistons fire every 40 minutes to harvest the melons etc and after 80 minutes it will do the melons etc again but it will do the wheat farm, uses 8 dispensers and when the item expires the next dispenser in the line fires and so forth to get the 80 minutes it uses a T flip flop and another dispenser controlling the wheat harvester

I would do it with a pair of Dispenser timers... 5 minute original, which then fires the 2nd and the 1st again. they are both then hooked up to a NAND gate, so when they both stop at the end of the 2nd 5 minute time, they send a pulse. After a brief delay, the 1st dispenser would fire again.

You know, you dont need all those redstone circuts and pressure pad stuff. Just have a button to push the pistons. If it goes automaticly, it will farm sugercane while you're gone! I built a semi-automatic cane farm by putting a three-by-three flat area with water on the corners and in the center, and put the canes on the side of each water block. When said water freezes (The area is next to a snow biome), after a while of no water, the can will automatically pop off of its block, and I pick it up. Usefull when you don't have a lot of resources for piston and redstone circuits and you need bookcases for enchantment tables.

When I make auto farms, I usually make a water flow that leads to pressure plates, so when the crop is ready, it turns a redstone torch on in my house, that way I know when it is ready
