My mom used to sing me this song all the time when I was little, so when I heard it in Bioshock, it hit me extra hard, and added an extra layer of creepiness for me. It almost felt like corruption of my childhood.
What kind of stupid answer is that? The games take place in the '60s, yes, but I believe there were more than 18 songs written in the '20s, '30s, '40s, and '50s. I don't like this song, and I wish they would have brought some better songs in for BS2 instead of this, maybe something by Count Basie or Glenn Miller. Do I really have to explain such a simple concept?

I LOVE BIOSHOCK! Such a great game and great play. I am replaying it right now on my new HD TV and I am loving every minute of it. The soundtrack is perfect as it combines its own music plus classic hits.
@SinclairDelux What the hell is your problem? I'm not the one who's making a big deal out of this... But yeah if you think the singers from the 30's got it from Bioshock, suit yourself.
This games is ment to be a horror / fps. My memory of this song is it playing in the background while I set up a thousand traps for the splicer rush due to my little sis gathering adam. Such a fitting song for all that carnage.
man i love bioshock <3 the music is perfect because it makes you think of how rapture once was all happy-like and now just its a haunting reminder. soooooo creepy but i LOVE it <3
I love these 20's/30's songs. They fit perfectly well in the Bioshock universe and setting, and only add more to the beautfiul 30's Art Deco look of Rapture, only making it more believable...

lol while playing bioshock I always seem to get this song stuck in my head, that and the "jesus loves me" song, I just randomly sing it while playing. XD
LOL...Me too...I keep playing it on the jukebox when I play BS-1. And yeah, that Jesus loves me song and after the splicers sing it, I pop them and boom, they're with Jesus. I don't know for some reason them singing it just makes my blood boil and makes me wanna pop them the most brutal way like unloading everything even on a thuggish lol
