  • As we sit before Him, I believe He will reveal things to us through His Word and we will recognize Him, as Anna recognized Him in His first coming as a baby. I want to recognize Him at His return and not be offended, like the Pharisees, who did not understand the time. Anyway...I could go on about this. But I just encourage you to love Him with your all and ask Him for His opinion and be like the Bereans and search out the scriptures. bless you, brother & thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  • for reading it and a warning for adding or taking anything away from it (rev. 1: 3 & rev. 22: 18,19). But all that to day, i agree that we need to love Him with our all. However, I believe that as we love Him with our all and sit before Him in prayer, we will long for His return, just like Anna sat in prayer before God and prayed for the redemption of Israel - the Messiah.

  • I just want to affirm your heart for Jesus. I agree that we are to love Him with our all! I do think that studying the Book of revelation is important though (as well as the other many chapters of End Time scriptures). I believe that part of loving someone with your all, is wanting to know their plans and longings, but not becoming more focused on their plans than on them. The book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ. To know Him fully, we must read it. Also, there is a blessing...

  • if you had lost your house on an earthquake, or look how a vulture waits for your body in starvation death, or have your nails pulled by persucuters, etc, you might say the rapture is so near. Acc-ing to 1Thes. 4 we're supposed to comfort each other with the rapture, so here is Laodicea church. Yes, it is good what you say BUT f you have a good relat. with Jesus, implicitly you wait for His return, man!!! As long as you have plenty of food and comfy house....Jesus can wait...

  • Amen gdy80.

  • Eloquent. Don't believe in rapture though, just a ploy to light a fire in our ass by religious zealots. I think the world really needs to slow down and begin to implement the technologies we currently have properly without the fear or exclusion of apocalyptic propaganda. Also if the bible is interpreted as an astrological text and the sun as christ, he will return and does so every year. God bless.

  • There is no rapture. Started by fundy's thru the prophecy of Margaret McDonald in 1835. Jesus coming in the clouds means that his presence is coming thru his ppl

  • I just want to say "Amen". This life is about LOVE. Until we can experience unconditonal love for anothr we cannot know Christian love.

  • So when yall fly up in the clouds with the invisible guy , are ya gona leave your fishen pools behind?

  • I agree we should love one another, even as Christ loves the church, but we must tell about the rapture so that every one can get ready, thats showing love for others, telling them that Jesus is coming,DON'T IGNORE IT!!!

  • Sorry no pre-tribulation rapture!

  • THE LORD HIMSELF SAID TO THE TRUE CHURCH:"Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial, which is to come upon the whole world to test them that dwell upon the earth" (Rev.3:10).(THE DAY OF THE LORD)

  • Brother, you can base your belief on mysticle interpretations but the end will not come until all these things come to pass.

    God love yea!

  • The year 1830 is the most covered-up year in religion. That's when a young woman in Scotland dreamed up the famous pre-trib rapture view, a view never taught by any church prior to 1830! Google "Pretrib Rapture Diehards" & "X-Raying Margaret" for all of the juicy details which may shock you. Marge

  • Looking for the Blessed Hope Part 5 And then after teaching about the rapture, Paul says in 1 Thess 4:18 "Therefore comfort one another with these words." It would hardly be considered a "comfort" if Paul was teaching that believers would have to endure the hour of God's wrath upon the earth! In Matt 25:1-13 is the parable of the 10 virgins waiting for the bridegroom. Be encouraged, "The bridegroom cometh..."

  • Blessed Hope Part 4

His coming here is "in the air" and not to the earth, and will occur just prior to the beginning of the tribulation period. Note the promise to the faithful church in Rev. 3:10 "...I will also keep you from the hour of testing." A promise that believers will be delivered from the tribulation period which will come upon the entire earth. Also mentioned in 1 Thess. 1:10 "..Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath that is to come." And 1 Thess 5:9.

  • I first want to bless you and tell you i am not coming at this to point out where you are wrong, but I believed in the pre-trib rapture becasue of people's teachings and then when I started searching out the scripture, I found the scriptures used to back it up are out of context and the view started from the Scofield Study Bible & is mainly a western view - not one of the world-wide church. I would be glad to tell you of how the scriptures are taken out of context if you have a desire to learn.

  • Looking for the Blessed Hope Part 3

The dead in Christ shall rise first, when the Lord comes for His people . Then believers will be "caught up". From the Latin (raptis) for "caught up" comes the term "rapture." The rapture or catching up of believers described in these verses involves both those who have died and those who are living when the Lord appears.

  • Looking for the Blessed Hope Part 2

However, Paul teaches about the rapture in 1 Thes. 4:16-17

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord."

  • Looking for the Blessed Hope Part 1

In the 70's and 80's it was almost a 'fad' in the Christian community to speculate on the time of the rapture of the church. There were dozens of books written on the subject, and dates were set. After those dates came and went, some people were discouraged and gave up thinking of the rapture, and others decided that the rapture was not found in the Bible at all.

  • Thank You, Very nice.

  • As Calvinist theologian Gary North points out, not only does the rapture lack scriptural support, but it also appeals to people with low class orientations who don't want to WORK to get what they want in life. Instead, they pray and wait for Jesus to rapture them from their trailer parks.

  • Jesus still loves you no and can fix you.

  • The kingdom of God does not come with signs to be observed or with visible display, Nor will people say, Look! Here ! or, See, there! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you and among you . Luke 17:20-21

  • I do agree that some Christians are getting way out of hand with rapture hysteria, but that in itself does not lessen the importance of the rapture!! Getting excited about the rapture does not mean we love Christ any less! If anything, it gets us more excited about him, about being with him in person again SOON. Jesus actually did say to watch, and even gave us signs to look for so we would know the time was near.

  • (couldn't finish above because of words limit- rest is here) It lifts my hopes & I find it comforting to know that I will someday soon be forever with my Lord who Loves as no other & will never abandon me & soon the suffering of this world will be no more. I find comfort in that. I think the rapture message is more for those who already have Jesus whereas Love and Jesus is for all who will receive.

  • Thanks for your honest & important message about Jesus & His Love- should be the focus of our hearts & lives. I'm a Christian & can relate to what you said about Christ like love & also in your post about some religious leaders- how unChristlike, unloving they can be. I see it go on like that way too much & was why I was looking for rapture video's- because I'm so sad- been feeling so grief stricken. It lifts my hopes & I find it comforting

  • god bless you

  • AMEN GREAT peace amen..

  • I totally agree, You shoudlnt use the rapture to bring people to the faith, not only because I am post-trib but that is an issue of "meat" and you have to feed babies "milk" after they fall in love with Jesus they can worry about preparing for whats to come. People are best witnessed to with acts of love and kindness not fear.

  • i really agree with you on focusing firstly on our relationship with Jesus. if thats straight, then... we should have no doubts or worry about the end of times.

  • amen!

  • =] yupp yupp

  • I guess another reason I made this video was because of people who try to use fear to bring people to Christ. The people that gave Jesus the hardest time were the religious teachers. The same thing would happen to Jesus today by some of his followers. I'm so sick of people trying complicate the simple messege of Jesus.

  • I can remember as a kid I would lie awake at night terrified. The fear tactics, pastors preaching standard church doctrine without researching its origins, and reading the bible without any consideration for context or cultural differences made me almost turn away from believing anything. Eventually I realized that I was holding God responsible for the ignorance of human beings; I now believe that you can believe in Jesus without giving your brain away.

  • I was baptized Catholic but our family never practiced religion during any of us kids growing up. I have my own beliefs and they don't have anything to do with any religion. Therefore I would call myself non-religious.

  • There are some really pushy faiths out there but one thing is for sure. My life does involve principles none the less... many of which you stated in your video. I try to be a good person and YES I to can be a hypocrite at time. Usually its when I am teaching myself a lesson but at least I learn along the way.

  • I have no plans in the future to embrase any type or form of religion but I do like people like you that regardless of beliefs can do nothing more than make the world a better place... Thanks! :)Your friend Darryl.

  • Thanks Darryl that means alot. I used to be one of those "pushy" Christians and the only thing I did was push people away from God. When a non-christian said to me "I thought Christians were supposed to love others" my heart sank and I decided to do what I should have done in the first place, love others and share Christ through not just words but actions as well.
