  • i loved this episode complete...go guado!

  • Just you and me,

    I need to know.

    Is this for real?

    Are you fo show?

    #based

  • Reminds me of a stage in Maplestory lol

  • I love how the video Kingdom Hearts II: Dearly Beloved is related to this video. :D

  • this game brings back memories T_T

  • It's not like FFX's Plot was Original, I wasn't expecting much on FFX-2 and i got what i wanted and more, so yeah it's a great game, alot of plotholes but still Music/atmosphere/battle system was good.

But god damn the % system.

  • @LiquidSnack

Agree. X had a generic rebel against fate/religion/ story. I enjoyed FFX-2 because a bit more although still flawed. Still I appreciated the fun Charlie's Angel spin to it.

And yes, the percentage system. I gave up at like 94% when I realized I could still get a happy "reunion" ending (just not the full one).

  • Is a delight for my ears this music.

  • the piano version of this song sounded like a sad song but the orchestral version sounds more happy

  • good game

  • one of the best final fantasy's

  • hurray for girly games <3 I want more games like this :(

  • @YumikoSasaki14

    I agree... and Im a guy ^^

  • As if 12 people dont like this :L

  • wow this different version is pretty good.

  • 良いね~。何度聴いても感動です。

  • Holy crap, I didn't expect my mini-rant to make top comment!!

  • @rikulover101 Well, it's cus you make an amazing point of course. People put down 10-2 cus of its girly atmosphere, and that it was nothign compared to 10. Sure, its not compared to 10. It wasnt meant to outdo 10. It was made to continue the story. Like it or hate it, it was a beautifull addition. An i give you a standing ovation on your comment, you spoke it how it is.

  • @rikulover101 Well good job on your mini-rant, happens often. XD Better than thumbing up some stupid 'Soviet Russia' or 'Justin Bieber' joke. Real legit, respect.

  • I was 13.. beautiful days. :)

spending days with friends, with games like FFX2...there were no problems!

  • @galaxiessky I know how you feel bro. That summer was amazing. FFX, FFX-2, FF-XII and on top of all, mmy old PS2! Haha great times I would tottally go back and relive it if I could!

  • I used to come to Guadosalam just to hear this song. Good times.

  • This song is awesome

  • I wasn't that impressed with the game itself but some of the musical scores such as this one were quite nice. I didn't mind the idea of a sequel but I just thought some of the changes were horrible - like Yuna's character :|

  • Aaaand the memories flood back in. /cry

  • I have a huge package.

  • This isn't the original? There's an original? Whatever. This song is good. I just hear a lot of different versions. Why the fuck does any of it matter? It's pretty.

  • I bet the producers went "Well Tidus was cool so let's just bring him back in a sequel if the player does a lot of stuff they probably didn't even know they have to do!"

  • @FinalFantasyLov3r124 Except they always hinted that Tidus wasn't really dead when we saw him swimming to the surface at the end.

  • @MrEmmyMertrelli Yeah I know but I didn't even know about the endings when I first played through the game.

  • @FinalFantasyLov3r124 Heh, I'm confused. Just so we're clear, you do know that we saw Tidus alive at the end of FFX for a few seconds? It was after the credits.

  • @MrEmmyMertrelli It actually depended on what ending you got whether you see Tidus or not in X-2 but at the end of FFX it shows him waking up outside the waters of Besaid~

  • @noutathewolf That's what I was trying to say. =P

  • @MrEmmyMertrelli I played X-2 before X (I was a noob to the FF series then) and so it took me a long time to realise that you could actually get an ending with Tidus XD

  • AWESOME SOUNDTRACK!!!!!!!

  • Anyone want to mail me and reminisce about this game? xD

  • @Smurfy281 hahaha im playing it right now! :D well not at this exact moment but im in the middle of playing through the game

  • @12hoyebr Haha awesome! ^_^ What bit you at? Have you played it before?

  • @Smurfy281 i havent played it before but at the moment im looking for the ten gatekeepers for the cactuars hahaha

  • @12hoyebr Oh, it's an amazing game! That's pretty far i think. You have to fight some big-ass monster at the end of that trial thing if i remember right. Good Luck!

  • @Smurfy281 yeah thanks hahah i think i like this one more than FFX. In my opinion, the fighting style is better in this one... i hated the turn based stuff.

  • @12hoyebr Yeah i get what you mean. That board freaking confused me man o_O Still love FFX though - always will <3

  • @Smurfy281 you mean the garment grid? hahahah yeah it can get pretty confusing...

  • @Smurfy281 no i havent played it before but at the moment im finding the ten gatekeepers for the cactuars in bikanel desert. hahah

  • you know, I don't really like FFX-2 because of the whole Charlie's Angels complex, but I can listen to this all day, and the piano version even moreso.

  • cant stop listening to this song omg HELP

  • 聴いてて感動します。

  • i love every FF game even KH and if you dont like it go back to your Call Of Duty

  • @randalolc Look, ive only played a handful of FF games(I've Beaten 7/10/10-2/12, and ive also beaten dirge of cerberus and the first dissidia. I've played 11 and 13. I think all these games are great games. and don't get me wrong, Kingdom Hearts(beaten 1 and 2) was a terribly fun game, but imo ruined some of the storyline of final fantasy, i mean, Sephiroth is Cloud's "Darkness" ? comon that was stupid. and also, i love playing call of duty, :)

try bashing on WRPG's those suck XD

  • Weird... I always liked this version but damn near despise the other one *rubs chin*

  • final fantasy x-2 is very good

  • The only reason they made this game was to reunite Yuna and Tidus.

Everything in between was still good tho :)

  • 11 people didn't get the meaning of this game!

  • I remember hearing this in the game....Guadosalam?..yes

  • This game was beautiful; not a disaster, and I owe it a lot. Not only that, I'm not a fan boy, and I'm not even a fan girl. I'm just a gamer. We all like different games, and FFX-2 was a lot different then the ones that came before it. If you don't like it, well, then, that's you. If you did, then that's you. Just as there are many different people, there are many different games to cater to them. And don't tell me all gamers are the same, because then you are NO gamer, my friends.

  • @rikulover101 respect

  • @rikulover101 Haha, I'm very happy to see people like you live as I do. ^^ Video games have become so much more than simple entertainment, they've become life, beauty, moving art. I owe near all I am today to the great and powerful lessons of virtue and heroics taught to me by such masterpieces like Final Fantasy. We all must forge ahead with the great lessons we learn. The beauty in these kinds of games and their musics allow us to reflect on who we are and who we have become since playing them

  • @ManiacJTHM It's cool to see that people agree with me. I know a lot of people feel the same way, yet they never comment. Well, I've made it my business. :)

  • @rikulover101 Hey, hard to say now, that youre under "Music-love-influence", But sadly, ffx2, was a horrible plotless, one sex-scene in discuise after the other.

Do i have to remind you of the "Lafleur massaging game"?, from that "Quest", you gain nothing, learn nothing, and have to endure ffx darkest eyerolling moment of all time.

  • @xXxgriefelementxXx Yes I remember that scene well. However, there are many games that have such sexual references that, if mature enough to "endure it" as you word it, can even cause you to laugh at it. Also, there was plot to it.Yes, it took a bit of playing into to figure said plot out, but once you got to that point, it takes off and doesn't stop until the end. I respect your opinion, so please, respect mine. Besides, I love it for more then just the music.

  • @rikulover101 Agreed.

  • @rikulover101 Agreed!

  • this game was a disaster, and if you cant se that than you are just a fan-boy. If you sat down with the makers of this game 90 percent would stand up off their seats and bow and apologize like 20 times...................But iam not all bad, the opening title screen with yunas guns was a final fantasy masterpiece..............

  • @watcherofthings I loved this game and I'm not a FF fanboy.

  • Not bad.

  • Noriko Matsueda Takahito Eguchi these JAP COMPOSERS ARE AWESOME!

  • @HeavyDheavy You're right. In the first one here character is the right one, shy and reluctant to do what must be done to rid spira of sin. However in the second one she finally breaks free from her shell and begins to let loose a bit. She still misses Tidus and wishes she could see him one last time and she never can back away from a person in need but in a new perspective. I enjoyed X-2. It was meant to appease fans of X, nothing more.

  • @JustforKikX it's not that i don't like her breaking from her shell. i just don't like the way they changed her into a amercian idol singer and how they dressed her and rikku. it's still one of my favorite FF games. but there are reasons i just don't like about the game.

  • the reason i say that x-2 didn't receive as much credit as FFX because i say they ruined what i thought was a perfect game and turned it in charlies angels mixed with DMC. the battle system was great, the job spheres was great, the music was unbelievable, but the story was just awful and they completely ruined yuna's character. don't get me wrong it's still a good game. but not what most fans of the series expected.

  • @HeavyDHeavy i thought they made yuna a little better because she finnaly knows what freedom is and now she can have fun without worrying about yevon but shes still like her old self cuz she cant back away from helping people and shes still nice soi wouldnt say ffx2 sucked

  • OMG this song just relaxes me so much.

  • Hmm, not realy orchestral. More like electro or something.

  • @FailWhalex3 Why would people call you gay? it makes me want to cry too..

  • where can I download/buy this? cant find it on itunes

  • I dunno but this song makes me want to cry. Call me gay or whatever, but when I first heard this I was blown away.

  • @FailWhalex3 why would people call you gay? it shouldn't matter if this song makes you want to cry

go ahead and be my guess.

Crying shows affection and emotion and that is a positive thing :]

  • @FailWhalex3 It has a slight bittersweetness to it, and a different kind of beauty. Cry all you want, sensitivity is a virtue!

  • @FailWhalex3 real men cry to songs like this

  • I'm not tlaking about the music of those games, I'm talking about the games themselves. They're not very good.

And you spelt "you're" and "you", wrong.

  • @TheHomieStar You spelt talking wrong. :)

  • @Ultimaion The difference between my mispelling is that I made a typographical error. You are trying to change the words "you" to "u", and "you're/your" to "ur", which is retarded. Speak English.

Anyway, back to the main point. XII's characters, while had EXCELLENT voice actors, were bland, and the story was incredibly diluted and hard to follow. XIII was...okay when it came to characters, but the fact that there were no towns fucked it up. And X-2 is...X-2. Fucking Barbie Dolls.

  • @TheHomieStar Yeah. Am I really? I don't see "u" or "ur" in my last comment.

  • This is less orchestral than the original. Still like it though.

  • I honestly don't see the problem with this piece. Even though it is an unexpected arrangement, it still has this feeling of being bittersweet.

I think it fits Yuna's situation very well at one point, you know, in X-2, looking back at what she's lost and thinking she won't have it back. Yet at the same time, she has her newfound and all the things she -didn't- lose.

  • On of my FAV songs from one of the GREATEST Final Fantasy games:-)

  • @PeppRmintBUDy "one of the greatest"? they're ALL great

  • @thirdyearronin XII, XIII, and, quite frankly, X-2 were shitty. They're NOT all great.

  • @TheHomieStar actually they are... either ur not listening correctly or u still need to turn up the volume... :)

  • @thirdyearronin i dont think theyre all great but i do like a lot of FF music period

  • I love this game, it's my second favorite, almost my first (FF9 is my favorite ;D). This was the first FF game I ever played and I find it funny that I don't like playing X at all o_O It's quite odd.. But this is good, though of course, the original is better. :D

  • I will admit, I am disappoint. Its a good musical piece, but it has no feeling that the original had. When they orchestrated Zanarkand, they made that great piece so much better. This just takes Eternity in a new direction.

  • lol@ the 5 line comments :]

  • @guildwars11001 Good point. FF13 is awesome too, btw. Paradigm system is so badass.

  • better than the original!!

  • nice...

    my complimemnts to the uploader..:))

  • This and the original version of the song are both amazing.

Also, for the person saying they changed Yuna in FFX-2, do your research. She's actually exactly the same in FFX-2 except she talks more and makes jokes sometimes. The "pop star" thing was Leblanc and the outfit was Rikku's gift to her so she wore it as a kindness, even though she didn't exactly like it.

  • cute <3

  • that version is cool too i love both ^^

  • sounds like a song for maple story

  • For such fans of the original song, you guys sure didn't your homework. This is part of the game, part of the soundtrack. Both official, and loved by music enthused souls who don't give two flips about 'ruination' over the original. Because in the end:

They're both great songs. Scary, ain't it?

  • @ProjectTrinity It is

  • @ProjectTrinity Very well said. :)

  • @ProjectTrinity

For trying to have a counter argument you sure dont have good gramer.

  • @KrypticSlaughtr How cute, you caught the mistake I made 5 months back and commented on it rather than the song. I appreciate you being different from the people who gave me the thumbs up, though. Someone ought to be different after all that time~ ^_^

  • wow... the most beautiful song ever composed is here just pulled through dirt...

  • @Neme778 Considering this says Orchestral and the original was done with a synthesizer You can't get it the same. Plus if you don't like something don't bother listening to it.

  • Omg , its over 9000 *O*

  • might aswell make this music than nothing

  • I prefer the other version (the opening to FFX-2), though this one is really nice too <3

It's an amazing piece of music *0*

  • i dont remember this being used in the game >__< damn my nubby memory, but nontheless i love listening to this :)

  • @FilipinoyC This song is played by the three musicians in Guadosalam ;)

  • this is fucking awsome!!!

  • One of the few good things to come out of X-2.

  • @LockePhilote you're an idiot.

  • @DeathbyEliteGamer and you're a bigot

  • @darkmagicianbren Hardly. Everyone plays X-2 off as a horrible game(more or less for the reason that it's all all-female cast) and I bet half to 75% of the people who did that never even touched the game. The game is fucking awesome. It set up the basis for FFXI, which is STILL an Ongoing MMO today based off the dress sphere system. I'm not a bigot, I'm knowledgeable and in this situation, correct. You don't have to like the game, I'm not asking you or anyone too., but you cant deny it's place.

  • where can I download this song?

  • ...You guys do realize this is technically an "original" version as well...Same soundtrack, same game, same composer...Just a deeper track...Right?

  • @BobbyBlackwolf yeah.. I love sc698's version better.

  • I dunno...When I hear this song, I'd like to burst into tears...not lounge with it in a club. =( Sorry, but the original is what it is and we like it that way, if i can speak for everyone else in this favor.

  • epic fail lol. doesnt fit. I love the piano version though.

  • @hannahnelson80 this is also used in the game.

  • @hannahnelson80 You do know that the other was done on a synthesizer right?

  • Peaceful songs and sad songs are better with single instruments or string instruments. Less "noise pollution", if u know what i mean. I gotta say i dislike this version, even though there is a nice beat to it.

  • @meanleanchris96 So basically you hate all Orchestral songs?

  • @darkmagicianbren no, for example, i like Terra's Theme from FF6 in both orchestral and original versions. It's just in this specific song, the beat seems overly happy and too much beat. The tempo seems to be thrown off and the extra side instruments just make it slightly distasteful. I guess that's what i meant by the "noise pollution."

  • @meanleanchris96 Yuna's Ballad is an overly sad version of her theme and that's still good.

  • this is a peice of crap that sonds like owl city made, the piano versions are much better

  • this sucks, the original is so much better

  • 4 dislikes!?! Blasphemy! Heresy!!! How DARE you! KILL!!MAIM!!BURN!!

Long live Final Fantasy X series !

  • @stiffeg Many things can be done without all that... It's not Heresy they just don't think like we who like it. Though their reasoning... pretty off.

  • @darkmagicianbren I wasn't really serious XD

  • i prefer the original

  • What is Noriko Eguchi has to do with this music?

  • (I believe I found it...)

Ah man, I love it. I'd say the orchestral version is much better than the original. Peaceful, yet invigorating.

    Again, I love it.

  • Kuon -The Troupe Performs-

    NOT Memory of Lightwaves

  • this isnt orchestral. this is the band member edition.....

  • Lovin' that bass guitar!

  • i agree with deanriam, what they made of yuna is a big shame

  • This song is amazing. It makes me so eager to get through FFX so I can move onto X-2. <3

  • this is one of my favorite songs from FF, but the game itself was not as good as FF 5,6,7,8,9 and 10 ... but actually better than 12

  • @saschadermeister Better than 12? Most ridiculous statement ever.

  • @deanriam lol you're funny!

  • @RoxasLoverCiara LOL, go fuck yourself.

  • The hell did I do?

  • @saschadermeister Never played any game before X but in X-2's defense as to why it's not as good, though really it was better, is that sequels are rarely as good as or better than the original.

  • X-2 was the very first FF game I ever played, and the first game I ever got on the PS2 as well ^-^

  • @EternalXin yeah! The FFX.2 it was the first game of a RPG, i didn't about FF but one day I say "I gonna try this game, it's looks cool" actually I'm a fan of FF. This game it's cool for start in FF's world.

  • Comment removed

  • @Narutofireleaf Not really good for a start in the Final Fantasy series considering it's one of the sequel to a previous game.

And every installment with a Roman Numeral that's different from a previous one is in a different universe altogether.

  • This game didnt get as much praise as it deserved. so wwhat if its not as good as X its a sequal, theyre almost never as good as the original let alone better. im tired of everyone saying it sucked becuz it wasnt the best ff ever. its still a good game. and i dont get why people said it wasnt as good as x. i liked it!

  • It's bad because of it's sandbox style and the fact that they turned Yuna into a cheap whore.

  • @deanriam and how did they turn her into a cheap whore? all they did was give her a personality. isntead of keeping her as a peace keeper who bottles up her emotions....

  • @xxxholic9895 All they did? LOL, no, instead of keeping her as a peace keeper who bottles up her emotions, they turned her into a gun-wielding, ridiculous pop star who wears the sluttiest outfits anyone could ever think off. I would expect it of Rikku, not Yuna, what they did with her in this sequel was unforgivable and embarrassing.

  • @deanriam they didnt change her THAT much actually.... i do admit the outfits are a little slutty but thats it. storyline related' its leblanc's fault she turned into a pop star.

  • @deanriam you call those outfits slutty because you dont look good in them.

  • @Seiseiyura Sure, as a guy, I am so jealous of their slutty outfits./sarcasm

    Idiot.

  • @deanriam is that not a bit extreme considering it was leblanc's fault :/

  • @xxxholic9895 *agrees*

  • @xxxholic9895 i liked it better in some ways for example, when you think that there loads of dressphears each one is like a different character so it plays as if you have more characters than in 10

  • @xxxholic9895 Me too. The dress-sphere system was something new and innovative at the time the game came out. I hate that they never brought it back (Never played XI or XIII please correct me on this if I'm wrong) It gave you a great way to balance your characters to the party's advantage. I didn't even change from the first garment grid. ever.

  • @darkmagicianbren its back but used differently in ffxiii

  • @xxxholic9895 i like because of the outfit change and a 100 diff, ways you can beat your enemy

  • I know it's bad but I had to use cheats at the end of this game. I followed the storyline and didn't do the things you needed to do to get all the garment grid costumes.

  • back in 2004 i was not familer with final fantasy series ...i accidentally exchanged my corrupt PS2 game with FFX-2....and from that day i became a RPG lover....after that i played FF-X it took me nearly six months to end it.....

  • I know. I got Final Fantasy x-2 and i oficially became a ff lover never stopped liking it since

  • the guado played this

  • I played X-2 before X and when I started it I was like what the heck are they talking about? But now I have actually played X it's beginning to make sense

  • Is it even fun, when it fully doesnt?

  • I played X-2 first too

  • thir is rather R&B than Orchestral : /
