Another way to play it which i use and is cool and easy is capo second fret: chords and notes are conjusive to capo

Verse: G9, Eminsus4, Dsus4 and C9 (ie keep finger on 3rd fret - actually fifth cause of capo haha - high e string for whole verse also keep finger on G string second fret which is the 9 in the G9 and the sus4 in the Emin sus4 play around with resolving these).

Thats a start but if i had to tab the whole song it would be complicated and need to use tabs haha. But for chorus instead of D (actually E cause im using capo) try D with F# in bass and some sus 4 and 6 notes. If this doesnt make sense sorry haha. Thought it might help. Anyway love play this song!

This acoustic version is fantastic and has so much more depth than the album version- you're not distracted by drums and electrical humming that drown out his voice. The guitar is more than enough to back him. Same with Ramona. I hope he brings out an acoustic album.

I was lucky enough to see him play one of his live solo gigs mid last year and he played a couple of his new songs he was working on... The gig was amazing and his album is going to be unreal...he is just such a great song writer! I can't wait

Solo album is currently getting the finishing touches, apparently. And if this is any indication of what's to come, I'm sure Paul won't let us down.

Also saw him playing a few other songs - have you fallen out of love and another I've forgotten the name of.... It's shaping up to be a brilliant album.

Saw Paul sing this at the Toff in Town, july last year... Was brilliant, Keep an ear out for "Have you Fallen" another amazing song ! Solo album is currently being recorded ! Can't wait :)

Wow, this says yes to me straight up. Paul Dempsey has a voice to die for that just drips soul with every word spilled. I can see this becoming big fast. Would not be surprised if we see an upcoming solo album from Something for Kate's frontman. And if this tune is anything to go by, I could imagine it being as big as Bernard Fannings Tea And Sympathy
