Mark had vocal cord damage. Most people don't seem to realise how singing for a career for decades on end can do devestating damage to a persons vocal cords. Specially because when performance are booked, the show much go on, and most professional performers carry through with performances even when there vocal cords are already stressed out from a previous peformance. That is when damage happens.

no there is a much deeper reason why they broke up...messed up relationships and marks voice too...but mark and will started a strip down of audio a...its called audio unplugged..they are releasing album this year
