So sad when I couldn't find Chan Po Chu's 慧剑岂无痕 anymore on youtube. It disappeared once. I was overjoyed when it reappeared again with a much better version than EMI's. Her 帝女花 seems to have gone, too!
Chan Po Chu is just excellent in every way in her Cantonese operas. In terms of 粤剧古装反串扮相, I don’t think anybody can be as good. Before,I didn't expect that she could sing Cantonese operas that well. I instantly became her fan in early 2010 when I saw your version of 慧剑岂无痕.

Excellent! Chan Po Chu is so good at performing Cantonese operas. We all love watching her. Her Cantonese opera singing is just so good. She is very good-looking!
Chan Po Chu is SO GOOD!! She's just charming!!! I grew up with her Hong Kong pop movies during the sixties. She was the Diva of those days. But who's this actress in the second part of the clip? She has no voice and is constantly out of tune. I wonder if she did it purposely for a kind of humour,or else she must have too big an ego and courage to perform with such a bad voice.

唉, 算啦, 聽說女主角是仙姐欽點的, 也許覺得她演技好吧, 試想導演事前又怎不先請教過仙姐並尊重她的意見呢.

@avochu 其實《劍雪浮生》的主要目標是要細說仙鳳鳴，不是一場粵劇。區嘉雯演仙姐真的可說十分相似，基本上是完全掌握得到仙姐的神態。再說她是仙姐欽點的，和這套舞台劇不是買唱，是買仙鳳鳴的故事，唱得不好也沒有所謂。

2010年8月14日我再次去看了陳寶珠的《俏、柳、紅、梅》粵劇折子戲演出。
為了欣賞陳寶珠的演出藝術，我真是樂此不疲，只要她一天演下去，我就會一直的看下去，不但百看不厭，而且覺得是一種很好的享受。喜歡她的人都希望她健康，能一直地演下去。
陳寶珠很有演粵劇的天分，能領會掌握粵劇的精髓；而且她很聰明、謙虛、好學、親和、大膽和用工，反應又快，所以不論在唱功、唱腔、音色、吐字、演繹、功架、口白、造手、走步、台型和氣派都非常出色，再加上她的容貌扮相俊美潇洒、氣質獨特清純，沒有半點低俗粗鄙，身段又恰如其分，那就更天衣無縫了。
更難得的是，她能把粵曲的每一句，甚至是每一字都唱得那麼好聽，字字句句都能感染觀眾，扣人心弦，而產生共鳴。

非常感謝妳！我完全同意妳的看法。那麼好的演出要分開兩段來看真是大煞風景，而且顏色不大好，但至少口型對上了; EMI錄像裡的口型對不上，而且EMI那個片段很難找，所以沒什麼人能看到，真可惜！
陳寶珠真是扮相俊美、玉樹臨風、氣宇軒昂，可說是前無古人，后無來者，我一定會按妳的提議去買那DVD來欣賞和珍藏。

多謝欣賞, 陳寶珠2003年演唱會的影碟應該市面還有售, 如你喜歡的話可以買回家慢慢欣賞.
其實唱片公司不明白, 我們轉載部分片段等於變相為影碟宣傳及促銷, 因經常有人看了youtube 的片後會問在那裡可買到該影碟的, 我自己亦試過.
幸好有其他人亦上載了那首劍雪浮生在其他網, 不過分了兩段, 而且畫面及音響稍遜, 好過無啦, copy & paste 下面兩條 links, 貼上後網址右手面AyMjg 會自動變成

陳寶珠本是粵劇出身, 她的粵劇是非常出色的, 因父親是著名男花旦陳非儂, 母親是名花旦宮粉紅, 所以陳寶珠她從少便對粵劇產生興趣, 八歲便開始學戲, 亦習平劇, 並跟隨著名京劇名旦粉菊花學北派, 和常參與表演, 又被梁醒波看中邀請與他女兒梁寶珠合組成孖寶劇團演出, 當年大受歡迎, 十二歲時她的粵劇天份被導演賞識邀拍電影, 與任劍輝合演 [教子逆君皇], 任劍輝極欣賞她, 更打破自己不收徒弟原則而收陳寶珠為入室弟子.
雖然陳寶珠後來因遊美讀書及結婚而暫退出演藝界, 但她的粵劇根基深厚, 天份仍在, 條件出眾, 如她肯多演出, 再排練, 她粵劇台上巔倒眾生的魅力一定如像火山一樣再度併發, 牽起粵劇熱潮,
說得對, 她的扮相俊美瀟灑, 確是任劍輝一代之後, 當代所有女文武生之冠, 無人能及!
