It is genuinely a funny and VERY clever bit that I did not see coming. This is genuinely funny and kudos to Walter Williams for writing it and Larry Saltis and the actress for doing a great job in making this skit work.

You know the best type of television is when it can predict what will happen in the future. Look at Max Headroom and what it predicted: reality TV, on demand programming, blipvertisements, hundreds of channels, you name it. Apparently the New Monkees did so with this clip by predicting speed dating. But like any other show that is so brilliant, it ends up being cancelled. Go figure.
