Then they killed off every major lore character, (Illidan, Kael'Thas, Arthas, Vashj, Deathwing, All those dragon aspects, Kil'Jaeden [Though he wasn't totally killed], Cairne), and now Thrall is in some stupid love story with a Mag'har, the Dragon Aspects gave up all their power to kill Deathwing so there are no immortals left except the Old Gods and Titans. I smell Sargeras in MoP. WoW fucking blows now.

I just played this game again. It has some selection problems, but it is SO much better than WC3. I wish Blizzard would remake WC2 with the gameplay enhancements of Starcraft 2. Same graphics and sounds, but improved gameplay. THAT would be epic.

But one day a FreeSCV game work torrent might just pop up. :D (what brought me here, collecting songs on youtube playlist, will eventually save em all and onto ipod. starcraft, warcraft 2, 3, brood wars, sc2 not bad, ocremixes from ff and chrono trigger games, etc)

but WC3 rocked also. The alliance sure got beat up but they aren't out....yet.

@KewlCrayon I totally agree. There's too much focus on music being "epic" nowadays. Music in games now is just choirs singing jibberish to sound "epic" (WOTLK theme for example), when these themes are great. Hard hitting, simple, but layered enough, and simple enough that the melody can be hummed.

@StelarCF I disagree, SC2 is badass but it was only good because the community around the original SC and SC:BW had time to grow. If SC3 was released quickly after the last expansion, the SC2 community would be crushed imbetween the SC and the new SC3 communities. Warcraft told the story WAAAAYYY better than WoW has in cata because it was less upfront about. it. WC4 could give new life from the series however blizzard really does not need another excuse for another decade of WC. :)

Actually I want conquerable territory for SC2 online. 24/7 universe /w 3 races and multi worlds to conquer, turning into fights or pc's fight for you also if yer offline. Perhaps starting /w easy cpu to help you and earning better ones.

Grepolis, an online conquer game has the territory, just not SC awesomeness!!!

@freescv Great words! =) Another thing was that humans and their leaders became too overconfident, cocky and lived in a false fantasy of security believing that after defeating the Horde nothing would ever again threaten them...except for those orcs who remained free.

And when they refused to hear and see the warnings what was about to come, it was then too late to save Lordaeron from destruction...kinda sad really how once so mighty kindom fell so easily.

That's sad for me to say, because I've been a Warcraft fan since I was a young lad, watching my father play Warcraft 1 on his old machine. I played WoW because i was a fan of Blizzard, but I've seen how they turn their backs on us, the real fans of their franchise. While I am Alliance to the core, and think this theme is epic, I think (Orc 2) theme is the best WC2 theme. There's just something about it that makes my ears very happy.
