@TheIronEyez Have you tried looking and asking around at any of the gecko/reptile forums? They're not nearly as popular as leopards and cresteds, so may be harder to find. But they're out there! We've got one. Also, you may be aware of this but I'm mentioning in case... If you get a pair and want to house them together, two males together wouldn't be advised. And malexfemale should probably only be kept together briefly at a time, as they are very prolific and she can be bred to illness or death
@PudzBug Everywhere I've read says to use a 10 gallon. But I believe you can also keep more than one together in a 10. Also, 10 gallon long would be better than 10 gallon tall as these geckos are terrestrial. They may fall and get hurt, so for them to have room and access to climb too high would not be necessary anyway. And the longer terrarium would give them more room to roam around on the ground.
How often do u feed them? Im curious since i feed mine every 2-3 days. But he doesnt seem to have much of an appetite, i got him in a rainforest terrarium.
hi there i have 2 pictus and i love them but ummm they lost theyre tail how long do they take to grow it back and what age do they start breeding? i also have a pictus video so you can go chek it out and subscribe thx
@R3PT1L3GuY hey, u have 2 of these guys rite? well i am thinking of getting 1 of them, do u have any advice, cuz i think these guys r ALOT cuter than loes, is there any diferince between care, i no how to take care of leos, so is there much dif?
aw they're so cute. . . btw those geckos aren't from the desert. they're from woods so their substrate should be switched with coconut fiber or bark chips nyway thats what i heard from magazine i have. . .
@gekperson Very late, but adding here. Some don't prefer sand for these guys because it may not help hold in humidity as much, also a lot of people have a fear of impaction with sand. Though it is not forbidden and some people do use it.
We have a pictus as well and we use coconut fiber too. And I would recommend it if anyone asked me about it. ^_^ We like how it looks and smells very natural and apparently does not have much risk of impaction.
jesus dude that is way to tiny of a tank for 2 get a 10 gallon and i bet they would be way happyer
