@starfithteen stretchy fabric makes the shorts stretch. no thread can really make it stretch because then the thread would pop or break.

how much material do you recomend i purchase to make my own shorts, and am i able to use any material not just t shirt materia

@chantelpero it depends on what size you are but you could ask any fabric store worker how much they think you should get and yes you can use any type of material you'd like but if it's not stretchy then you might have to add in a zipper or buttons
