What other mods do you have on your car? What caused the motor to fail? I'm considering getting these cams or the the 127500 when I do the head swap.

@amwilkie I really dont know for sure. right before the head swap I changed plugs and one of the plugs broke off and some of the porcelain went inside when I tried to get it out. I couldnt get it out so I bought ported heads for it. it could have been a piece of that but I dont know.my mod list is: livernois stage 2 ported heads spr stage three cams steeda tb spacer c&l racer intake mac long tube headers custom made x pipe stock mufflers TCI stall alum driveshaft 4.10's tci shifter bmr lowers

yeah i know right lol. not sure why it keeps throwing egr circuit malfuntion code. but could have something to do with it throwing a rod though the block a couple of weekends ago lol

did you get the phaser lockouts? the cams are notorious for destroying retainers, springs and valves due to the VVT ford finally added.

i bought them but before I could install them the motor blew up.  they will go in the new motor for sure.
