"What is Your Life?" (Hard preaching ripping on worldliness)

oh so if i decide to burrow some drawing styles from cartoons like "Garfeild", "Pokemon", "amertican dad" or any secular cartoon and use either one or all of those drawing styles to create my christian cartoon an use it for the glory of god..then im sinning?? that sounds absurd and laughable if that is what this baptist is getting at. i mean this baptist church is burrowing secular material themselves! (the internet, the piano, the organ)

His message may be true but I don't like the use of the word queer throughout the sermon. It's just not a nice thing to be called. It would be better if he would just use the technical word, homosexual, instead of choosing to use a word that is an insult to them. They're God's children too and if they repent he will welcome them into heaven just as surely as he'll welcome anyone else. And if we judge them for their sins then we're as guilty as them. There is no sin greater or less than another.

@bellajewels John 19:11 - "Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin." I would recommend reading from the Bible and seeing what it has to say about a subject rather than just going by your own thoughts.

You may not love them, but Jesus did and He died for them just as much as He died for you. Read 1 Corinthians 5: 9-13. The Bible says that God is not willing that ANY should perish. Jesus commands us to love them. You may not like them or want to be friends with them, but you have to love them because Jesus did. Jesus even ate with prostitutes and tax collectors because He loved them and didn't want to see them die and go to Hell.
