That is crap. No one can turn off your CPU. The Technology of Intel is better. If you think about the situation of AMD and Intel, you would see that AMDs Bulldozer is only a bit better than the 1year older Intel CPU, so it would be possible, that the Sandybridge-E or the Ivy Bridge will be much better than the Bulldozer. That is a fact! At the Moment there is no reason to say AMD is better. We have to wait, what Intel is going to release in a few months.

i informed a bit about "intel kill switch". the killswitch technology is for stolen computers which can be disabled if someone has stolen your computer. but the kill switch technology has not been realised in the final product of the sandybridge processors because of the fact of violating the freedom.

Intel and overpriced? Here in Germany a Core i5 2500k costs 170€. An AMD Phenom X6 1100T costs 140€ and the Intel has got up to 30% more Power. So it has got a really good price/performance ratio. Also the Intel Sandybridge CPUs need only a maximum of 95W. An AMD CPU needs up to 140W! The Temps of AMD Highend CPUs are also not the best at the moment. I don't know how it looks like with bulldozer, but i think Intel has got the better processors.
