Just because it's called a "democracy" doesn't make it one...Do we really have a choice? Seeking to take big money out of government and to make politicians accountable to the people, not their lobbyists, is not communism...It's an attempt to create a real democracy that takes the needs of the people into account.

@bushbarnes I don't understand why you say this sounds like communism...Corporate interests have undue influence over political decisions. The war in Iraq, for example, started under false pretenses, is depleting our country of much needed resources. This person is angry that the wealthiest 1% of the U.S. population now has a record 40% of all wealth – more wealth than 90% of the population. The political system allows large-scale bribery against the interests of the population.
