  • Your position in the bench is incorrect in this video. Follow the five points of contact rule:

    1. Both feet touching the ground.

    2. Butt, shoulder and head touching bench.

    3. Your eyes should be directly under the bar before initiating the exercise.

    In the video your head is hanging off the bench. If you put your feet on the bench, then your abs are involved and help you in the lift, therefore you are not isolating your chest muscles as much.
