  • sounds great. is the bias knob really that handy? do you still have the stock 12ax7 in yours?

  • @cpage07

Unfortunately, there's not nearly as much voltage adjustment as I had hoped for with the bias knob. Not worth the $125 upgrade IMO.

No, I'm using the 12AU7 --- the 12AX7 had too much breakup too early.

  • @MGKraest awesome! thanks. I have a Tube Driver on it's way from BK, he offered the bias for $75, and I decided to pass on it. Now to find a 12au7!

  • Wonderful job using the tremolo bar. Really beautiful vibratos, that's the details needed to play as Gilmour. Congrats!

  • Very nice

  • Loved the playing. Need I mention the sound recording?

  • This is just damned good playing, mate!

  • my ears are bleeding

  • Shame you don't use a whammy pedal to go high like Gilmour. Would be perfect otherwise

  • As said before fantastic tone and playing, I prefer the tone of the Fulltone to my Pete Cornish SS3.

  • @ColinPRS

I've never heard either of those pedals in person, but I can't imagine buying any of the Cornish stuff without being a travelling musician.

  • @MGKraest

The good thing is with Cornish is that if you sell the pedal you always get your money back and more sometimes!

  • Hey very nice! Loved it!

  • Fantastic playing and tone. I'd love to hear the exact same performance with a good compressor pedal added into the mix. Then I would honestly think I was listening to DG himself playing it in the studio if I closed my eyes.

Seriously good job. I wish I had a quarter of the talent it takes to play that the way you did.

  • the best cover job i`ve ever heard.indeed

  • @MrStratcaster

    Thanks buddy :) That's a big compliment. I appreciate it :)

  • I have one of these, which I use with an '06 Clapton Strat. They do sound great. I sometimes put a Boss CS-3 Compressor/Sustainer in front of it for slide solos which works really well. I run the bias knob at about 2:30. I'll probably get a second one in a few months. Very nice guitar work, BTW.

  • @bookerdann

It's well worth the money if you can pick up a CS-2 for $100 on Ebay and sell that CS-3 -- the 80s CS-2 sounds much nicer and more organic than the poppy and bright CS-3. Thanks for the comment :)

  • a five knobs version. The bias killer.I`ve bought it now.MGKraest, let us play together

  • nice job

  • Thank you sir.

  • Sounds cool! I saw floyd in montreal in 94 best concert I ever seen. Division bell tour. Looks like a American deluxe strat? I have the Deluxe Ash Excellent Fenders.I am putting in CS 69 Pups in a couple of days the stock Pups sound flat!

  • Yep. That's exactly what it is. Phenomenal guitar. I like the stock pups alot :)

  • Great response Mr. baylox that is a new term for me.

I am exactly what your shirt says with this pedal, "enchanted." I was going to get a KOT by analogman but this pedal is SO much more of what I am looking for. Thank you so much. Keep up the practice you sound great.

  • Awesome :) I'm glad I could help someone out :)

  • Tighten up that whammy so you don't have to keep reaching for it.

  • shit sandwich

  • Ahahahahahahaha. How do those taste? I've tried one with some salt, pepper, mayo, lettuce, and tomato and it still tasted like complete shit.
