is McIntyre that disliked? I know he's not the best stand up performer, but some of his observations can be pretty funny.

@warmm0nkey He's disliked mostly by 'mainstream' comedians who haven't made as much money or had as much air-time. Very much a case of pot, kettle and black - they try their best to get their faces everywhere, McIntyre does it better, and so they knock him for it. I think that's what Armando Iannucci is commenting on.

I think he's OK - can take or leave him, thought his first Apollo routine was great - but I like him a lot more than the likes Russell Howard, Andy Parsons and Gina Yashere.
