Yeah they fight good...until you keep it out of the water for like 10 mins, then they die. Get fish back in water quicker

@lakerdude911 There are size limits on fish, and a limit on how many you can keep. Go ahead and eat legal fish but read your regulations on fish to make sure that they don't get killed off.

i use shrimp and mullet too sometimes bucktail jigs work too. Gulps work good too.

Yeah I tried the Gulps once but I wasnt sure if I should use them as like a normal plastic type bait, or soak them like shrimp. How do you fish when you use them?

@buckedup98 i hook a jig head sometimes through the tail, and sometimes through the head, and yes i usually soak them to get the scent out in the water.

Gotta make your own spider weights... check my channel for the vid. We caught some great bull sharks a few weeks back down there. I travel 250miles to fish that beach, then travel home. We aught to get together on the beach sometime. I subsed to keep track of ur fishin... we use 5' PVC for holders for the sharks... big 42" bull reds too! Gotta yak that bait out! Got you some nice reds!

bad ass red maybe around 30 inches i catch those in the arroyo colorado on a boat with some finger mullet...probably in two feet of water

hey great video and great fish. but if you are still on that shark quest go out now and fish in matagorda again or in just galveston . there has been many shark hook ups i wen out to galveston today and caught 6 sharks in 10 hrs. the oil spill is making the fishing great

Pretty nice video dude me and my buddy went fishing in galvaston surf we could not manage to catch some nice reds like in this video but we could not keep the black tip off our hooks. but nice video make some more

IF you watch the catfishing with eddie, warning adult language video, watch it in the HQ option. that camera records in nice quality as well, cost 1/3 of the price of the HD sony, and works great with windows. the problem with the sony is that windows dosnt recognize the format so you have to buy after market editing software, and have a high end computer cause editing HD video takes alot of processor power. I love the sony though, its by far the best camera out there in my opinion. take care!

thanks for subscribing! The cam i use in this video is an HD sony with a built in hard drive. the camera records in even higher quality then what youtube shows, true HD, its unbelievable, plus in full dolby surround sound.. only prob is windows dosnt recognize the format, so editing is a pain.. unless you have a MAC. or you could buy editing software that reads AVCHD format. watch my catfishing with adult langeage one in HQ. that cam was a jvc, cost 350$ and is still GREAT qual plus easy to edit

Boca Chica is the southern most part of Texas. It is a three or four mile stretch it is between the SPI ship channel and the Rio Grande River. Been fishing that beach all my life, you pretty much have it all, you have flats for wading, or surf fishing, also you have jetties and if none of that works you have the mouth of the river where it meets the gulf. Might try is some day, it is unpopulated so pretty much its camping which it looks like you enjoy that.
