Respect for putting this on you tube.

  • "Break it down Jay"

  • When u lived in Philly Lady B's street beat was the center of the hiphop universe. Everything that was hip hip you heard first on her show. True pioneer and this was one of those songs I heard first on her show. If my cousin brought down some tapes of Mr. Magic or Red Alert u got even more hip hop flava. Man the memories.....long live the essence of hiphop

  • Even to this day, I still can't believe how incredible Busy Bee sounded with Melle Mel's lyrics. There's something about his delivery that gives them a very Southernized feel (minus the Li'l Wayne and Outkast bullshit). This was QUITE a slept on album... I just might have to upload the whole LP one of these days. ^_^

Thanks for posting this song all that time ago. A real classic, and one of the last truly great hip-hop singles of the 1980's.
