I disagree with Xronixles and girlteknoid, Sunohara may add the comedy, but Clannad would still be a masterpiece without him. As we saw in S2, there wasn't as much Sunohara in there, still turned out the most epic.

Although we do need the comedy, I would not refrain from watching just because he wasn't there :)

@JohnForester15 I know that now, but when I wrote that, I hadn't watched up to that point. And I figured she would wake up eventually, but it was taking too long and I got tired of After Story. As it is, I proceeded to watch up to Ushio's birth and Nagisa's death and then I skipped to the last episode to avoid the depressing nonsense in between. I was pleased with the ending. :)

no it would not have english but there is an english patch for clannad that you can use. I'm not sure about air or kanon tho....

the ps2 version of Kanon, Clannad, and Air don't have english on them at all. The PC versions for Kanon and Clannad, though, have fan-made patches that patch them into english.

when you think about it sunohara was the energizer of clanned, if it wasn't for him clannad is more of drama rather than fantasy...ok let's admit that clannad seasons got the story and the lines, but if it wasn't for sunohara being kicked around, i would'nt watch clannad, seriously. it would bore me there wasn't a sunohara in this anime
