why do you have to remove the genuine software??

I have everything installed from the automatic updates and i have security essentials and genuine advantage too and i`m not having problems at all. plus there is a crack for the genuine advantage if it`s causing you to validate windows,so what`s so bad about the genuine software???

When i first installed the genuine advantage I was in the same situation. It deleted my wallpaper and when i put it back on desktop it kept removing itself after a restart (for example). Also it kept popping up ads that i should validate my windows version. If the same is happening to you the only way to fix it is to REINSTALL your computer. All EXPRESS installs are harmless but don`t ever install the genuine advantage.

@redha2001 Also never install anything from the CUSTOM install. It gave me much problems and one time i installed from it i had to use system restore or i would have ended reinstalling my computer..again :s
