@MogTrader yes you can narrow the gap the monitors move a a sliding rail so you can move them as close to eachother as you'd like, and yes its vesa :)

This video got me to buy this Monitor Mount and I must say it is great and made solid, My only gripe is that one of the brackets that holds the monitor on the rail wont tighten firmly...so one monitor droops a little .......I have ordered a replacement part hope it helps

I've had one of these for a month now, paid $200-odd plus shipping, and I'm quite happy with it. It easily handles a 24" and 27" monitor, and obviously could take two 30"s.

It's not perfect - height adjustment is really a two person job - but it's really solid and well-made, and it completely hides 2 DVI, 1 DisplayPort, 1 USB and two power cables. I figure I got my money's worth.

It's def nice having a quad or dual swift tilt mount but for 300? do your self a favor and buy from tykesupply they pwn and there prices are legit
