Yeah problem with BOTH of your logics.. most schools that I've gone to contain Deep Freeze on the computers. Deep Freeze causes the computers, after a restart, to wipe the hard drive clean.. except for what was installed before Deep Freeze was activated. That includes Windows and any programs installed... you need to reboot most of the time after enabling the firewall or uninstalling LANSchool.

go into notepad and pen command prompt

type "net users administrator *"

and then when logging in just sign in as "administrator"

This is stupid, uninstalling it is quite noticeable... why not just instead of booting it from a network drive put in your account info and unplug the ether line when it's loading your settings. That will give your computer local administrator status and have lanschool disabled by default. Sometimes this makes the teachers LANschool not work either so you can save everyone in the class. That only happened to me once when I did it though so I'm not sure if it makes teacher's stop working.

Dosen't work in most cases. If your version of lanschool is older then you can kill it via the taskkill command.

Cmd -> Taskkill /IM student.exe

The way my school is set up is all the schools in are county are connected to one server, this server is what keeps you from getting on youtube and other sites.

Lanschool just monitors you, if you turn lanschool off, you still can't get on youtube if it's blocked.

The library system was very unsecure if what you say worked. Tried for 3 hours to get past this on my math classes computer. This didn't work and I could not stop the service or prevent it from starting on boot. I think this had something to do with Novell resetting certain parts of the registry on boot like the Run commands. Guess I got to get past Novell(Not an easy task).

The control panel is blocked, but there is a way to get to it, and i only tested on windows xp.Make sure you have signed onto the particullar computer once before. Oce you have logged in, rebbot the computer. Once the computer is fully booted up and asks for your login again, disconnect the blue cable in the back of the computer. login. You can now access the control panel and the C: harddrive

Or just search for lanschool and it'll be the 2nd apps file, open, click setup.exe, click accept, uninstall, click finish and it will uninstall lanschool (carefull the teacher isn't watching the monitor, your screen will be taken off the list the teacher can watch so the teacher might notice) and then click finish once more, it takes all of like 1 minute to do all of that after you've done it once ^.^

2) Bat files CAN NOT be run if your group policy is setup correctly.

If run, cmd, task manager, batch files and foreign exe are not blocked then the IT has no idea what they are doing. The firewall exception should be configured on the domains group policy making it impossible for you to even modify the setting. Your network administrators must have shit for brains and need replaced.
