@rale2701 from the reviews I've seen, no. I'm buying mine tomorrow, and I've heard that the slide is ABS plastic, but apparently looks and feels like metal (?)  Anyway, all of the internals are metal.

Is the mag single or double stack?

@nypd67p The magazine has the appearance of a double stack magazine just like the real one. The BBs do stagger slightly in the magazine but it is technically a single stack magazine.

spring pistols are a great overall choice.If you guys want i can do a review on the PT 24/7,and full dissasembly and reasembly.I highly recomend buying one(even if you have a gas gun).Just reply me if you want the review.(sorry for my bad english)

What you're showing in the video isn't the Softair gun. It's the real gun. You can tell because the gun in the video says CAL 9mm on it. It is also missing the orange tip, which is required by federal law to be present on all Softair guns.

@KalConduitman No, because pepper spray will incapacitate an attacker. Shooting him with an airsoft gun will just piss him off. People skirmish with airsoft guns all of the time. Yes, it stings but that is about it and it surely isn't enough to ward of an attack if they really want to get you. Using plastic or metal BBs wouldn't make a difference since the gun still produces the same amount of power.

@KalConduitman Hmm.. considering it creates an intense burning sensation on contact with tissue, and will continue to do so for quite some time, pepper spray would inflict just as much if not more pain as getting hit in the eye with an airsoft BB shot out of a spring gun. Not to mention with an airsoft gun you would have to hit a target the size of a quarter while moving and most likely in the dark. As I said, airsoft guns are not self defense weapons. ;)

Although it wont get someone down, its possible to use it as a time buyer, or at least give me the opportunity to maybe get a shot on an eye while I try to close to engage and be in range to wave my knife off my pocket and be able to use my blade as such. So maybe it not self defense directly, but it could be used to help me get in position to use my knife

the only defect i found on my and my brother's gun is that the the piece of plastic on the bottom right of the slide breaks off fairly quickly.

shortyusa is very good but one thing to keep in mind is tht they get the FPS wrong on all guns it say the tarus has 225 fps but it really has 315 fps

Youre going by what it says on the box arent you? Cybergun for some reason uses .12g BBs as a FPS benchmark instead of .2g like everybody else. The 315 fps is based on the .12g BB which is a little confusing since the gun can only use .2g or heavier. A .12g will curve really badly and could jam the gun. All guns are tested with the correct BB prior to listing on our website so the specs are always accurate.

the spring is better than the CO2 for a few reasons.

the spring has higher fps (315 FPS) due to the BAXS system, is more accurate ( friend has the CO2, says its not accurate).

if you need a good gas pistol, theres plenty out there, USP's, MK23's, glocks...

The USA version has a glued slide lock, you can try and unstick it, also there is no ''cheap clear version'' only a clear one, the performance is the same.
