As for SNSD, just over 2 years ago, they were holding lollipops as props while dancing. In the course of just a few years, SM transformed them into matured & sexy ladies, declaring their adulthood. That's when haters began to hate more. Only Sones who grew with them know that they haven't really changed inside

It's more of because this was their debut song, which showcased their voice and talent, seeing as they didn't wear heels and had less autotuning in their songs. After their debut, they started producing more catchier, higher noted songs which makes their voices sound weak since they can't really hit them with power. I feel like "The Boys" brought them back to this original range of comfort.
