Okay. These are my personal thoughts.

John Cena was forced to listen to The Nexus leader as that was the stipulation should the former lose to the latter, which he did.

Then, the anonymous Raw GM told Edge to "play by the rules".

In a way, Zack Ryder is still being hinted.

Edge treated ZR like a tool as stated before which means as long as the latter is "under" Edge, ZR will have to listen to the former a.k.a. "play by his rules".

Now, it is Edge having to play by ZR's rules should he be the GM.

The GM is not Cena. It is possible to have an accomplice but Cena is in hot water currently because his career is on the line. He would not do that to himself, storyline or not. If JC is the GM, he would have long quit Nexus on the spot after "destroying" Michael Tarver but he could not because of Zack Ryder.

Plus, ZR and the anonymous GM said the same thing. "You've hurt my feelings". It's because Edge called ZR a tool. JC is in no involvement having his feelings hurt by Edge at all.

@khfreakIII There would be absolutely no point in turning Zack Ryder into the GM. He draws little heat and he's been destroyed in match after match as of late. The GM has to be someone of some huge significance in order for the angle to mean something.

Which is why Cena as a heel GM makes perfect sense. The Nexus thing could be played off as a ruse that CENA organized himself in order to gain power and throw suspicion off track. Besides, Cena and Edge have had history, too.

Zack Ryder IS GM in my view. If his identity was revealed, everything will be in chaos. Heck, JC had been GM before but temporarily. Since ZR is being "destroyed" like you said, then it is better he takes time off altogether. In his case, as a GM.

My evidences:

1. JC is not that "weak" to have his feelings hurt by Edge.

2. JC uses words much stronger than moron.

3. If JC was to be a heel, he would not use cheap tactics like that. He faces all like a man. Not like heel Y2J, Orton, JBl and so on.

1) Cena could have been sarcastic with that.

2) Again, throwing everyone off the trail. Why would Cena use phrases to blow his cover?

3) The whole point of being a heel is that they DON'T face things like men. That's what makes them heels, and hated. Undertaker - the ultimate badass - ran away from fights in his last big heel turn as a biker, Triple H hid behind his factions in every heel turn, as did Stone Cold when he was a heel. It's the norm.

You keep your opinion of Cena as the GM to yourself, I keep my opinion of Zack Ryder as the GM to myself.

Whether JC or ZR is the GM in the end, I am fine with either one because I want to see how well can ZR perform as GM and I definitely would like JC to be GM. Provided that he is truly the anonymous GM in the end, something which I believed he is not in my personal opinion no matter how much I support him.

I feel sorry for anyone that has to put over the 5 Knuckle Shuffle. Bret actually wrestled in his Iron Man match, Cena couldn't have an Iron Man match without it being No DQ! He needed to brawl outside and use weapons. Brock Lesnar was way better than Cena because he at least had a wrestling clinic with Kurt Angle in their Iron Man match.

Plus Cena isn't better than Brock, would be no Attitude Adjustment if Brock didn't do the F5 first!
