I, as a lot of younger people at the time, had no idea this was a Beatles song ("Ob-la-di Ob-la da"). Then, one day I bought The Beatles 'White Album' and, well, you can imagine my surprise. I enjoyed seeing this again and hearing the music again, but the opening theme that I remember was a little different than that. It had all of that, plus it had everyone rushing through the kitchen and the dog still waiting to be fed, but everyone just walks past him and ignores him... and finally it ends with the dog dropping his bowl and laying down.
